  1. tone bypass is very easy to do, just have to be a little brave. pre tone mod, don’t hate on the wiring it works lol
  2. so i bought a second NYC with a view to modding, i got a hint from a fellow bassist i know from instagram and decided on the Diode mod called Supa Tonebender which is removing the diodes D1 and D2. really happy with sound lets a bit more bass in and the circuit. Next was a bit mad tho! i had a spare Damnation Audio Blooper (Bypass looper) and it was missing a knob and not selling so hey i thought why not! so its now hardwired inside and the jacks on the Muff are the in/out from the DA sounds killer and tonight im actually gonna add a tone bypass

  4. what was said above some things like a compressed signal some dont, best thing to do would be to put it in a try it.
  5. the latest in Ryans Cicada Fuzz series!
  6. But is not advice, that I can understand if say there’s a lot of noise in your signal, ie advice on solving an issue makes sense, asking a question that’s more for google ie what power supply for my 9v 50ma pedal…. Isn’t advice or someone being a novice to me
  7. I’m mocking no one, and totally understand….when you first start out it can be daunting, but asking what is the best fuzz for doom here or on google you will get the same varied and random answer’s except here you will get certain bias. im never rude and I do like to comment saying it’s always best to find your way and use this group to maybe narrow down between certain pedals.
  8. I can see that, I can but, then there are ways to start conversations like that? If someone was to ask what’s you favourite fuzz for doom? That’s a much better question and will get you interaction than asking what’s the best fuzz for doom
  9. I can see that for sure, but I do think here there is a much more open and accepting nature to those type of posts also many here myself will normally have looked for an answer first elsewhere, or know that ppl will also have gone thru a similar issue.
  10. I’m obviously a member of many FB groups many are fine however there are many who you can’t escape the standard weekly questions of “best overdrive for rock?” ”best Aby switch” and many more questions. is it just me or do some simply use those pages as google? might be an unpopular opinion tho? Same as when people ask about ohms and cabinets? I know you need to learn somewhere and that’s fine you can tell when someone is new to things. But again a simple search can give you the answer
  11. If I get an expected payment still interested but might not be for a week or so
  12. Really nice fuzz, and has a boost that you can order to be before or after the fuzz, kinda sounds like a muff on steroids
  13. bottom is the same but the Sutton industries deal fuego is very cool!
  14. mc6 on the way, can use it to midi control my es5 for the special sounds i use in other banks and to navigate back to the main sounds
  15. mines of the board atm, but not going anywhere really useful to have a pedal that can basically do anything if i need it for a song while recording. Midi control the sy200 from the Core the sy200 is amazing when you get the midi going.
  16. can you control the levels of parallel paths? in the ml10, although being honest im wondering if simply adding a ml10 and mc6 to the current board to add the extra fs atm......
  17. Sorry should have been more clear want more than 5 fs available for presets on the switcher
  18. And stop myself from looking like a wish Troy sanders lol
