  1. all depends what your after sound wise i guess, the Boss 200 series are cool pedals aswell wth full midi control
  2. i liked it in videos but the DG thing just didnt work for me. i currently have a blue colander black emperor, and lusithand ground n pound, aswell as my staple bongripper from fuzzrocious
  3. i wouldnt go as far as big red but if you want to you could replace the DG pedals with say the larger midi controlled Infinity? this also has a tuner.... sadly with the pedals you have said you have on the board only the C4 is actually midi so not really alot you can do currently.....
  4. honestly dont know, once i used the infinty in a band setup i just didnt dig it at all
  5. haha how to go from needing to wanting in about 20mins lol
  6. haha typical just found a geddy for a good price so though screw it!
  7. still looking at getting the geddy but if i really like the ashdown i might grab a second !
  8. so ive ordered the ashdown
  9. never been an issue for me even on my 30" Jaguar, and tension wise they feel great in standard and drop d.
  10. honestly i just use standard regular EB slinkys on mine
  11. Oc5 can do an oc2 just think of the direct dial as dry, set the switch to vintage turn the octave up off and -1 octave all the way up
  12. seems like you want some sub bass for sure not just a standard octave, however i know for the dua lipa track sound you could get close with an oc2 ( turn off the dry) and a subtle chorus for me id only use the dod meatbox into a di, and i use mine as an always on sub under my main sound, i think as salt says you might be better using a standard octave
  13. Everything panther said!! the mantic is a bit cleaner sounding the meatbox has a slight dirt to it, but yeh if you want sub......they are kinnda the only options
  14. im so intrested but you are probs a bit to far away!
  15. im not sure why they chose a slap guy to demo this.........the pedal doesnt sound to bad, a hint of DG about it but def not a clone, just something similar looking with a hint of the og.
  16. Got my mk4 up and running after it not traveling to well ! might actually need to run two heads again!! and grab a second 2 notes so i can run one cabless
  17. i can be heavy handed and i like how its beefing up the lows a bit aswell. i can be guilty of having mids be to forward in a mix so its flattening things out nicely def nothing crazy setting wise either.
  18. shame but like you say cant work for everyone! currently my low gain drive! ive also got the Alma upfront! and the Cali 76 bc at the end of my rig.
  19. i feel i need to run all three stacks at some point?
  20. All three of my Peavey 400 series heads sound great! and all together cost about £500! love the 215 aswell that cab is a staple now i dont mind moving them and they are just dependable and great sounding
  21. The head is super light to move around, and the cab on 4 casters agin not to bad
  22. The ashdown is a known factor for sure! But I’m intrigued by the sansamp
  23. So im thinking of moving my preamp of my board to a little unit above my amp. looking at two currently..... as they around the same money it might be i end up getting both and one turns into doing my sub channel? (probs the ashdown) i know and love the ctm preamp had a ctm 100 for a few years great sounding thing! but im intrested in the flexabilty the 2112 has i know there is some baked in eq but i dont mind that i also really like the drive sounds (shame they are on a fs) Guess my only question is does anyone have either of these? in my mind im tthinking of mixing the two di's from the geddy before sending to foh ( my board already has 2 Di out 3 if you count my amp sim) and i could be wrong but im guessing i can run out of the fx loop send into the front of an amp on the ctm?
  24. love the peavey gear atm have three 215, this on has the og black widows, also have a mk3 and 4 head which I like to use
