Would all be lower than 200w so can have these hooked up into the patch bay and move the two notes between them when needed. -
Quick question - 808 style pedal (+ a Doom 2 query).

Dod will get you very close, wouldnt try putting it thru iems tho, would either distort or pop them, if its going to a pa you will feel the subs. -
Tbh honest I’ve only played one other thunderbird pickup and that was years ago in an epi t bird, the Avedissian is a great pickup punchy and aggressive, hopefully be able to shout about the other replacement early next week

want to put my amps at home in to a patch bay so i can quickly go between them, both for input and output and send them to my two notes captor or other load box down the line. will a standard trs patch bay take the load?
-
i also have a new pick on the way to replace the neck jazz pick up

Mk 4 decided to crap it’s pants after the sound check had to grab the old school bass 400 series head. but rig sounded killer -
but does serve a purpose if someone might search in about 6 months lol
-
this rig screams trying to grab a couple of the peavey mk4 heads that can run at 2 ohms one for each set of biamp, one could run the 18's and one the 10's
-
i fell in love with the tone of an old Peavey 400 series mk3 head, now own a mk4 and one of the much older bass heads, all pretty similar in certain ways but i have them more for collection i can interchange them given how i feel. however my main sound comes from my Rack pre amps which are before the amps An Ashdown ctm valve pre and Geddy 2112 tech 21 which i blend for either a fatter of more aggressive tone.

Smallest power bank for HX Stomp please?
0175westwood29 replied to owentherozzers's topic in Effects
from looking you need about 900 or so ma so you could try using a current doubler cable from voodoo labs and something like a strymon Ojai...........will give you 1000ma and the adaptor is nice and small the Ojai r300 is super slimline and has the iec plug aswell. -

yeh must be done with voltage but super keen to actually get my hands on a unit for sure
-
i pretty sure it does all the string by string stuff, some def magic going on in the trs cable they are using. im very intrigued to see how it plays with a bass, obviously all the demos are going to be based on more out there sounds but i love the sy-200, and this is somewhere between the 1000 and that for sure.

Post your pedal board - Basschat style!!

got the sy-200 hooked up to midi again, so that when I run it in parallel I can blend it with the drive or fuzz (Bongripper and black emperor/tyrannochorus) sounds really nice thru the rack setup aswell -
Thanks man
-
just seems its a simple database kinda thing to load new sounds in not so mush for use like midi, you might be easier going for a unit that can use midi like you want without hacking
-
the hx stomp or boss units are very popular the hx more so, cant say ive used any of the Zoom stuff. for me having access to all the boss effects is nice ( digital versions but basically they sound the same) space echo, dimmension chorus pitch, also the crazy routing options make it worth the little extra
-
i guess its the alternative to the Stomp but Boss gt1000 core, love mine and very easy to control via midi but obviously depends on budget
