Yes, isn't it? Actually there is another band playing in the same building where we are training. Their bass player has that SVT-VR (or so) and 410HLF. I can tell my rig sounds much stronger and clearer. This TE is one bloode high quality cab for sure. New model but they knew what they were doing!

First I was after Ampeg 410HLF for cab but then my buddy found Trace Elliot 1015H cab. Wow, they work so well together. Those 2x10" and one 15" gives lot of highs and LOW*S. First I was little afraid, if it is "made in Vietnam"-model. I have heard some bad news about those amps. Luckily it was made in Korea and the quality is very good. Actually this Ampeg is my first tube-amp and with this cab I can have very modern and very "vintage" sound. I you are after some good cab, this TE is one you should try. :wub:

Well, I emailed to Overwater and got one response where a person told me that he try to find out, if they fit. After that, NOTHING. Well, I did lot of work and found out this string maker called "Pyramid". I contact them and told, what is the problem. They said they can make me strings just as I want them. They will make me one set of flat's and will send them next week. Price is "litle" high but flat's will last pretty long. Actually those string will pay as much here in Finland as they will pay when I ordered them. So, I am happy and even happier, when string will arrive.

Thanks Chris_B. On their pages they are selling flatwound strings for basses with 34" and longer scale. I will try this one now....... But more help is always needed. You never know.

The topic says it all. Where can I find flatwound strings for my 36" 6 string fretless? I ordered one "long" set of Thomastiks but they were too short. So, any ideas where I can find those flatwounds for my "super" long scale. Who makes them and any good places in the internet where I can order?

It looks like it has a stingray, jazz- and p-bass in one bass? But it is not too expensive to make a crappy bass looks good. Just add some cheap pic ups and make it looks like an enterprise and there you go.

Some guys are telling it is a pretty crappy bass in that earlier post here. Couldn't find any sound clips but you can get it cheaper from somewhere else.

Finally. I ordered MK series I dots, with brass nut. Now waiting starts again. Last bass I waited was my CB........

Thanks Doc. I think I will take the brass nut. And yes, I will order one MKI model. I send some post put haven't got any answer yet. I hope they will answer soon and I can put my order in. This is such a good opportunity to have a real good bass with really nice price. There is nothing special in my order but I take the neck binding too. I think it doesn't get any better than this if I want a good slap bass.

One q, which nut you prefer - Standard or Brass nut and then whats the difference between standard brass nut and brass roller nut?

Thank's Doc. I am this close to order one. I already have one CB (6 string fretless) and one handmade Jazz bass. I love them bought. This Jaydee looks so good and I am after a good slap bass. The quality looks great and the price is more than reasonable. It is like an Alembic with 1/5 the price. I am waiting for an answer from Jaydee and then I will order one. I think Mark King MKI is the right choise for me.

I am about to pull the trigger. At the moment it seems Jaydee is a good bass for that money. I got Mark King mkI in my mind. What you think, worth of money ++ or just one "good" bass or just leave it and save for Alembic?

I just got an Ampeg SVT-CL and now I am after a good cabinet. What you good people think about Trace Elliot 1015H. 2x10" and one 15". Sounds good combination? If somebody knows how this cab works, I would appreciate some help.
