Selling this compressor that I got from @paul_5 recently. Incoming impulse buy forces sale. Same condition as how I got it as it mainly sat on the board unused. £35 collected in HP18

Dave Garibaldi and Nate Smith.
I would like to say Chris Daddy Dave but I will probably be lost as soon as the first bar starts. 😂

Bought a pedal from Paul. Quick comms, fast shipping and an overall hassle free transaction. Highly recommended BC’er.

I'm not talking Peart/Bonham type setups.
20-30 years ago every drumkit seemed to have two toms mounted on the bass drum, now they typically only have one. Our drummer says 'it's just the way people do it these days', but for the extra space and cost I can't see why?
*I have an old Hohner kit with three toms (but I can't play it very well)
my Terry Bozzio reference means that I dont assign drums/toms to specific notes. my needs are simple and I can do with a very simple setup.
As mentioned earlier, people sometimes remove the other tom to have the ride on a “hihat” level.

Why has having just two toms become so popular these days?
The exact opposite of gear multiplication that applies to other instruments?
In the gigs/jams I have done as a drummer I never felt that having only two toms to be lacking.I am no Terry Bozzio tho.

What is the MG in the middle? Body like Quantum, but neck like VJ5, so what is that?

are they Lace Alumatone pickups in the one on the left?
Whats the red one - the PG is different to a normal P bass though it looks familiar.
Which is your main player?
Why am I asking so many questions?-They are Joe Bardens.
-Its a bitsa with a Status jazz neck and Hipshots. I got the body cheap on ebay, most probably a Jack and Danny one but I am not sure tbh
- mainly the two Modulus (when gigging was still a thing) but it really depends on the need. The P bass is a lockdown thing so havent been out of the house yet.

mainly a four string player, but I have one five string when the need for it arises. Never felt uncomfortable switching between 4 & 5 strings, I am actually more uncomfortable doing the drop D thing for lower notes (for non drop D songs) hehe

about a month or two ago we used jamulus and zoom to stream our spontaneous jam on facebook live, just to annoy our online friends. 😁😁😁

The Focusrite stuff is very good for the money. The drivers are stable and the preamps are good quality.
Definitely a good choice for a first interface.
But, if anyone has a Helix related unit, then that can be used as an interface as well so you might not need a separate one.
Before I bought my Focusrite Solo, I am using my HX stomp as my interface. As good as the one I am using now IMO. Only reason for getting the Focusrite is I need the Mic input so I can converse during jams.

We use Jamulus + Zoom (optional) and it has been ok so far.

Not a P bass if it has a J neck?

IMO if it have a P bass body and a Pbass pickup, then it is a P bass.
