I certainly used to own a Modulus VJ but I can’t remember much about it now.

Cost me just £650 back when I bought it 🤦‍♂️

perhaps this will help you remember? 😀

Yeah I can still remember when flea basses use to sell used for less than a grand.

are they Lace Alumatone pickups in the one on the left?

Whats the red one - the PG is different to a normal P bass though it looks familiar.
    Which is your main player?
Why am I asking so many questions?

    -They are Joe Bardens.

-Its a bitsa with a Status jazz neck and Hipshots. I got the body cheap on ebay, most probably a Jack and Danny one but I am not sure tbh

    - mainly the two Modulus (when gigging was still a thing) but it really depends on the need. The P bass is a lockdown thing so havent been out of the house yet.

    -Knowledge is power. 😄

The Focusrite stuff is very good for the money. The drivers are stable and the preamps are good quality.

Definitely a good choice for a first interface.

But, if anyone has a Helix related unit, then that can be used as an interface as well so you might not need a separate one.

Before I bought my Focusrite Solo, I am using my HX stomp as my interface. As good as the one I am using now IMO. Only reason for getting the Focusrite is I need the Mic input so I can converse during jams.

Sounds? Come on, he doesn't actually use it! It's on display in his front room 😁

this is actually quite true, Covid means no gig, and lately when I want to have a go with them thick string guitars I just reach for the Zoom B1on and headphones. 😅😅

Although lately I recorded some collabs using this board as the Stomp is my only interface atm so I reversed the signal, Noble first in the chain going to tuner then effects then to the HX Stomp.

Thanks for the pedalboard love everyone! 👍🏼

Unknown to me, and not my usual 'cup of tea', but kudos for the splendid performance and uber-clean recording. Good Stuff; thanks for sharing. An extra 'Clap-clap' for the drums; very tight. :i-m_so_happy:

Thanks Dad3353, drumwise I can say it is one of those rare instances that overplaying is somehow an improvement. lol

I looked at the pdf manual earlier, but it's rather simplified and doesn't give the information I was after

Good to know about the battery life.

Yamaha's session cake webpage says that if you use the 4 pole cable supplied (TRRS) you can use an ios device to record and use effects apps to process the input signal. Have you tried this at all?

I have recorded several times using my session cake and iphone, with garageband and Focusrite Impact app. So I think it will also work with other apps like amplitude etc. for amp sims and effects.

update: I am using one this btw

  7. Selling this very nice AC power cable from the guys at Essential Sound Products. about 6ft in length. I know they are somewhat controversial in their claims tonewise but take it as just a very nice powercable that your boutique amp deserves.

I mean, some people buy £500 jeans right? 😀😀

    from the website:

    https://www.essentialsound.com/product/MCord-PRO_Cord.html

Orig price is about 200usd before tax, special Basschat price of £50. (Selling it for more everywhere else) Postage is extra.

Tradewise, I am interested in 3rd gen Focusrite Solo interface.
