2. That is one bad pic dude.
3.
I'd suggest learning to play without looking at the bass anyway.
Clever F...er. lol
4. I'm really drawn towards the Fretfx. They are really cheap for what they do. I think I'm going to look into fitting them to my Status Energy Matrix. Re the Bass Collection I think I will try Andy on Bass idea and buy a Uni Marker. The headstock is so narrow on the BC that I don't think the battery module on the Fretfx will fit.
5. Just read this over on the statii forum BEWARE !!!! http://www.statii.com/forum/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=4591&pid=43728#post_43728
6. If the parts are still available this could be a great project. I had the very same model and regret selling it
7. Must be away.... Not responding to messages.
8. I have a bass collection SB 110 series bass which I Love playing very much. The problem is when I'm on stage I can't see the fret marker dots along the top of the neck. Has anyone got any suggestions how I can replace the dots on my bass. I have front and side red Sims led's in my Fender Jazz but can't afford to have them fitted to my B C. There seem to be lots of stickers to fit on the front of the neck on the internet but none of the small type dots are available unless anyone knows different.
9.
Any idea what this weighs?
THE CASE WEIGHS 12KG
10.
They are active. (I read a few reviews where they mention it)
The pickups are definitely PASSIVE as confirmed by Rob Green at Status today via email.
11. Big Question is now. Can I fit a Seymour Duncan STC-2P preamp straight to my Status energy. Are the 'J' type pickups active or passive ???
12. Pots as well. But i'd like to keep the Status J type hyperactive pickups if poss.
13.
Hey guys Just looking to see whats out there in regard to trading my amp, would possibly sell if someone gives me a good offer! Yeah so head is Trace Elliot GP12SMX with the Ashdown 2x10 and 1x15 cabs. They have been gigged, got the head from a fellow basschatter and had the cabs from new. Heres a pic, will take more if people are interested Looking to trade for something smaller. 2x10 combos or head and cabs. Gimme what you got! Dunno how much I would take for cash cos I would need to buy another amp so I guess offers are welcome! Cheers/
Are those Abm cabs or Mag ??
14. Also still interested as before.
15. So has nobody on here ever upgraded their bass ???
16. Bought a bass case off Dave for a very reasonable fee and he delivered it too. Great comms and a great bloke to deal with. Cheers.
17. Have recently purchased a graphite necked Status Energy and would like some advice on how I can inject some life into it. It has had the original Status BP1 board and controls taken out and an Artec BT1A circuit board installed which is attached to a stacked b100k control. It still has the original Status pickups in it. My aim is to get it to sound as near as possible to the Status S2 Classic that I have recently sold. Are the pickups active or passive and can I install a Seymour Duncan STC-2P preamp, or Aguilar OBP2 or even a Status Preamp that will give it some bollocks. Any other ideas are welcome as I love the feel of this bass but want a BIGGER sound. I still have the original Status bits.

20. That's bugger all !!!!! some of the citroen saxo's that go past my house at stupid o'clock in the morning are pumping out much more than these babies.
21. Have just purchased a Status energy graphite necked headed bass. The problem I have is I want the Status logo on the headstock and emailed Rob Green at Status to ask him if I could purchase a transfer or sticker that I could apply to my bass. I even sent him a photo of the instrument just to show I wasn't trying to pass a cheap bass off as one of his. He sent me a reply saying they don't send them out but if I wanted to dispatch the bass to him he would put one on and laquer the headstock. This costs £60 plus about £20 each way to courier it to his workshop. I can't afford £100 just to have the Status logo on my bass, which should have had one on it in the first place. (The maple necked version has one on) My question is, how easy is it to scan and copy the status logo off a brochure and onto some transparent sticker paper which i can then put on my bass.
