    Ok I have this for sale: It's never been gigged, about 18 months old and comes with the manual and the power supply and I think I've got the box as well. Price = £150 + postage Anyone?

    You're gonna need a PC for start. As others have said, do you really need all that in at once? Also - ditch Sonar, I used it and it was a nightmare. Use Reaper; it's cheap, awesome, will not hog any resources and is just as good if not better than Sonar. Seriously.

    It is entirely possible to disappear entirely up one's own arse in any discussion like this. at a baseline level music is no less art than painting or ballet or acting. You can bring out as many theories as you like but it boils down to what you as an individual think and feel about it. Is what Girls Aloud do as valid in artistic terms as, say, Stockhausen? On a fundamental level yes, but subjectively? No - in my opinion. But that's only my opinion.

    TBH I would stick with Reaper, it's just as good for casual use as it is for full-on caning.
