    Rob if you end up selling it overseas. I believe Paul charges around the vicinity of £320 to ship. He packs the basses very well!!!!! When i got one of my Wals through basschat, they actually went to Wal HQ to assist in packaging it....it was packaged extremely well!!

I find myself horribly drawn to this [/quote] The passive sound of Pro Wal sounds just as good as its active version IMO. you'll get more tonal variations with an active circuit and perhaps a bit more pop, but the Wal sound, like Gary said is still there. I actually have a parts Wal bass i'm trying to put together and tested a Pro PUP that I acquired. If you want to get an idea of sound, here is a little thing I put together when i had test wires and such......believe the way i had it wired the pickup coils are in series (i show how i wired it in the beginning of the vid)....also the instrument jack is directly connected to the PUP so its as if everything is wide open. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OG8tYr_wqE
