  1. i've seen a few basses come with this from the factory (ampeg and ibanez come to mind) like on the following picture

does anyone know of an aftermarket way of doing this myself? or know of anyone who could do it for me? i've seen the letraset lettering transfers, but would they last? i can imagine them rubbing off or coming off with my sweat.

i've seen some of the old ampeg scroll basses that seem to have the name pressed into the pickguard.

i want to add the finishing touches to my two main basses and i reckon this could be the way to go.

I thought you bumped, edited and added more items but AFTER the fees were introduced. But like I say, the mods know the details and I think you know very well :)

Ahh right, well fair enough, although the guidelines don't explicitly state that the above isn't allowed, clarity is all that's needed.

But now it seems I've been banned from seeing the marketplace anyway?

  3. I got my new thread deleted because I didn't read up on the new stuff so then I went to make another but just decided to stop being lazy and bumped my old thread... Which was then deleted even though it hadn't broken any forum rules

  4. ive been contemplating one of these (or something similar) to use live for all our EXTRA HEAVY bits, i'd probably just have it sent into a dedicated fuzz with some EQ and then into some sort of modelling DI and have a bit in the monitors

You Using an ns-2 now then ant?

I'm looking the mxr smart gate at the minute.

yeah! as soon as i got back from that tour i got myself an NS-2 and i've never looked back

edit: it means i can finally get some staccato stuff back into my high gain playing, sometimes i might rub a string and it opens the gate and it just feeds back loads without closing it, but ill just quickly turn the dist off and on again and its back to pure silence

  6. i had tons of feedback from my distortion pedals that i couldnt get rid of, i had an ISP decimator ages ago and i dont remember it getting rid of all of it, just lowering it, tried another one but its stopped working now.

went on tour with a mates band and tried their boss NS2, totally killed all feedback from their basses when they had it at the end of their chain, tried it with my stuff and it was still there...just quieter

then tried my gain pedals in the loop of the NS2 and SILENCE, i love it
