1. "You are definitely the most beautiful girl i have ever seen with a kebab!"
 2. I love FOTC, and their kind of piss-take comedy songs. Are there any other FOTCers out there? Got to hand it to them, it's not easy to be New Zealand's 4th most popular folk parody duo, right there behind "Like of the Conchords".
 3.
Don't you ever sleep?
eh, no, i do... this is the MiltyBot 3000.
 4.
Ah Jesus Christ, you sad loners... haha!
I'm not alone, i have my cats!
 5.
Decided you're intellect...
Sorry, i just found that beautifully ironic Welcome, our transatlantic, god fearing, bass playing, surfing, reading friend! I'm sure you'll find plenty here to read, surf, fear, and play with. Oh yes, it's a real Aladdin's cave of stuff! Anyway, enjoy! Swing low, sweet chariot... of bass!
 6.
Just realised how many basses I have hidden from my wife!....Oooops!
hahahaha!.... HAHAHAHA!... HA! HA! HA! Ah jesus christ, you married folk.... haha!
 7. Ah don't worry buddy, we'll pop that basschat cherry for you! Welcome to the tinnitus team! I've suffered from it for as long as i can remember, and just thought it was normal and everyone had it... oops. I have found a cure for the annoying ringing noise though- just make sure you are always listening to something loud enough to drown out the ringing Welcome, and enjoy! You might have noticed by now, but we tend not to take ourselves too seriously.
 8.
As I recall, Hitler did call it "Mutterland" instead of "Vaterland" which was the norm. As I recall, a German psychologist (presumably in exile) published a paper about Hitler during WWII and said that he was fixated on a pre-WWI symolism, where Austria was his old tired father, and Germany was his young vibrant mother, about to be violated. Sounds a little thin, but he did predict that Hitler would commit suicide in a symbolic womb, which he kind of did, depending on how large and fortified you consider wombs to be.
That was it! He committed suicide in an underground bunker with Eva Braun didn't he? Then the Nazi's burned his body so it couldn't be violated or used as some kind of symbol of winning the war.
 9.
I will holler if I ge stuck.
Yeah, give me a shout, i'll probably not be doing very much tomorow anyway
 10.
Cool. I don't really know how to use iMovie, so I'm going mess about in there, help files etc. logic I am fine with.
Yeah, i don't know how to use Logic yet. iMovie is pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it, but i know that it can be a little bit tricky and frustrating trying to use it at first.
 11.
Good stuff My "day off"daytime lessons tomorrow (although it never ends up being a day off as such, working for myself) so I shall be mostly arseing around on the mac trying to get it sorted.
Try and set everything up tonight, it can sometimes take a while. You want to make sure you are recording in both programmes, and that they are working the way they should, so best to do a couple of test runs. I could make a video about editing if you like?
 12.
Ace, thanks very very much. So, can I record my audio into logic, and the video straight into iMovie at the same time?
Yup, that's how i do it. I did this that way- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_Gvoa5hips
 13.
And Victory Salute right back at ya, my follower. Though I suspect we are now wildly off topic.
At least we are in the right forum for it.
 14.
Seig heil, mein fuhrer!
Translation- Victory saulte, my leader.
 15.
Don't think he did even. The wartime government told the British public Hitler called Germany 'The Fatherland' for propaganda purposes... not sure how that would work. Of course I may have dreamt all this - I can't be bothered to Google it. Seig Heil!
Seig heil, mein fuhrer!
 16.
What, the Fatherland..?
Yes... he also called it that, but let's not forget he was completely off his rocker, and some psychologists would say he called it the fatherland because of something in his upbringing. Can't remember exactly what they said.
 17.
You know the sort of the thing.. "I've had her for ten years now but I've got my eye on a new bass so she's got to go, a lovely neck with great fat sound, she's a real players bass"... etc. Yuk. When people refer to their basses / cars / boats etc as 'she' it makes me squirm. If I wanted to refer to inanimate things as 'she' (or 'he') I'd move to France, Italy or Spain where they do it properly. So can you stop it please, or I'm leaving the country.
I think it's a term of endearment. Even Hitler referred to Germany as 'she', because he loved the country (even though he was an austrian). I don't really refer to anything as she or even he unless it is a living thing. I normally just call my possessions 'It'
 18. https://www.youtube....h?v=pKWP1_wd30I Hello! You have bought what i like to call a flea machine. Anyway, enjoy the site. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKWP1_wd30I

 20.
I do yes please :-)
Recorded. Going to edit and upload now.
 21. Assuming you still need to see a tutorial. Because i have just noticed you posted that 4 days ago
 22.
i'd like to see this - is it posted anywhere? I can use Logic, no probs, and can record video, but have no idea on how to get the thing together in iMovie - you know, importing audio etc
Sorry, i completely forgot about this. I'll do a quick tutorial tomorrow, if that's alright?
 23. D'Addario/Planet Waves Circuit Breaker Series Instrument Lead-This is my latest video review, which i uploaded last night. The video says it all really. If you want a lead, i would just say get a Planet Waves lead (or at least something that can rival it, with the guarantee to boot). http://basschat.co.uk/topic/197804-a-review-of-the-daddario-planet-waves-circuit-breaker-series-instrument-lead-by-milton/page__fromsearch__1
 24. I'm using one of these bad boys currently- http://www.esi-audio...ducts/esu22.jpg It's pretty small and limited in what you can and can't do with it, BUT, it has an XLR input, which is all i really want in an audio interface right now. I paid £40 second hand for this, and it's in pretty good condition. Very small and light, but still totally usable, and tbh, if it's doing what you need, i don't see any point in going and buying something fancy with all these inputs etc etc.
 25. So i've had this lead for a good while, nearly a year if memory serves me right. In that time, i have never found anything odd or peculiar about the lead. It always worked 100% when i needed it to, so it was only a matter of days until it became my main lead, and replaced my next most trusty lead (which wasn't as reliable and well made as this). It's a brave move to give a life-long guarantee, so you have to hand it to them. I've seen people ask "I was thinking about this lead, but i don't know", well, let me clear this up- This lead has a guarantee which means that if it stops working under normal use, they will replace it with a new one. For a start, you have to be pretty confident to make that kind of statement. Another point, the quality of this lead couldn't go much higher. Yes, there is another series above it, but the differences are really in the fine detail and numbers of it, and i would probably recommend that one too if i was ever able to use one. Anyway, here's the video, i covered most of the main points in there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiMp11WTgww
