For sale here is my hardly used Gallien Krueger MB150S-III/112 I bought this 2 years ago for acoustic gigs that never happened, it is in immaculate condition, it also comes with the Warwick padded bag that was made for this amp bought for £60, all in excellent condition. I am looking for £315 Posted, Paypal only.

Hmm I have seen Epi Thunderbirds going between £100 - £150 would hold for that instead mate

Thanks for these guys, reckon price range upto £150 just as long as the dims are nice and small but also a fairly nice tone as I really need it for testing basses and possibly acoustic stuff, my fave so far is the lowdown 110 due to price, size, power. Mind you if there is a 2nd hand Markbass Micro around I would have a punt on that as I get on so well with their heads.

cheers toasted certainly cheap enough might be an option, any other ideas anyone?

I currently have a GK 150MB Combo which in itself is excellent but for my use its too much for a bedroom practice amp, I now want to sell this excellent amp and get a cheapo bedroom amp, but would like something smaller if possible. Really would like a Markbass Micromark but 2nd hand I have never seen one come up and new they seem too much dosh, a Roland cube RX but these seem like a toy (maybe I am wrong) or failing that I have seen these Line 6 110. Was looking at the Roalnd cube 30 but its bigger than I wanted. Any other amps people could recommend has to be smaller than the GK 150MB thats gonna be difficult I know.

I am sorry if I am stirring up an old thread but after last nights fiasco of trying to get my 212 Genz Benz through my narrow hall way through a lounge covered in flat mates crap and up a tiny turning staircase (25 mins of my life gone) I feel one of these may be my answer, just a couple of question though. 1, I hear they are very mid-scooped, I generally prefer more bass and highs without being boxy, can you get this setting using a Markbass head? 2, If I was to go for a Schroeder cab, what difference is there between the 1210L and 1212L? Thanks...

Still no luck and now I know I am not alone... check this thread: http://catalinablues.com/community/forums/...03ec2240e4407ab Looks like fender make them this way, grrrr such a shame as its such a nice bass.
A fair few sellers have been messing people around too from what I hear. The buyer of my Status told me that several sellers changed their minds on him too.
Yep that was me... Had the opposite of Beedster... 3 times I had cash willing to pay people for items they had for sale then suddenly they change their mind and keep it, only to find the next day its back up for sale... just weird but hey, I like this forum for buying and selling it can be frustrating sometimes but I rather have it than not and we all love a bargain. I like to think I am a good egg and will always pay on the day I buy or ship within the week I sell. Smash

Now having tried lowering the volume it makes it better but the noises are still there the pickups seem way too hot, even if your finger is close they pick up hum. I have to turn the treble control right down to get a non glassy tone. Just wondering now if the bass is meant to sound this way especially for tapping but until I hear another I wouldn't know. Hmm back to the drawing board....
Havent got an Urge but have got a 40th Anni P, thats P/J and active and its noisey if you overload the preamp. With the preamp on (yours isnt switchable is it?) anything past 1/2 way is boosting the signal and 1/2 way is the detent position. Here its fine... but it took me a while to find that out.... if I whack all the pots up full it humms like a wasps nest..... Have you tried that by any chance?
hmmm no I probably have put volume level to full, now going to try that and see if that does anything. cheers for the advice here goes.....

just having a think about this bass, I love the shape neck dearly and rather keep her than sell so would changing all the pickups reduce noise? and also would it possible to add a passive switch? Hope someone replies... please...
I'm quite interested in this (and I'm only 10 mins from Brighton) but this is an older one right? what's the differences between this and the newer ones with LMII in? apart from the new ones have more power I suppose? And what's your asking price now? Cheers Graham
Graham, from my eyes this is the only 2x10 combo produced by Markbass and has the LMII in, its the latest model.

MarkBass Traveller 102P - anyone tried a pair of them together?
Smash replied to P-T-P's topic in Amps and Cabs
Ha we share the same pain gafbass, single room in shared house equals no space whatsoever, forever tripping over stuff, so this might be top of my list if it does the trick. now its either 4 or 8 ohm hmmmm -
MarkBass Traveller 102P - anyone tried a pair of them together?
Smash replied to P-T-P's topic in Amps and Cabs
Hmm just reading this thread has give me food for thought, would you say you could do small gigs with a traveller 102P and be ok (1 guitar and drummer with light sticks), they do a 4ohm which could be pretty tempting for them smallish gigs.
