Hello. PRICE DROP to [s]£350[/s] £320 Here is my Hofner Very Thin guitar Hardly played. It just hangs from the wall. I bought it thinking I may get interested in playing guitar but it didn't happen. Much prefer bass Here's the www for it http://www.hofner-gu...guitar_store_de Collection only from Leeds (not really into letting a delivery service trash it as it has no case ) Get in touch

SOLD >>>>>>>>> (not sure how to go about changing the title though ) Hello Here is my Euphonic Audio VL210 cab. £250 Great cab. not had it long. Got on here from BigThumb. I'm just sick of carting it up and down 2 flights of stairs 4 times a week for gigs and rehearsals. I must have thought I was stronger than I actually am. I really need something lighter. Great cab. Sounds ace and is mighty powerful. 500w 8 Ohm Collection only from Leeds

Hello. //// THIS IS NOW SOLD/////// Here's my Genz Benz combo up for sale. £250 Great combo. Nice and powerful. Just doesn't get used any more as I went the amp and cab road instead. Here's the www for the combo http://www.genzbenz....&sid=705&cid=95 I've modified it a little with the addition of some skateboard trucks and Longboard wheels to help with moving it. It's in great condition. Just the usual scuff marks from loading and unloading into a car. It has been gigged and performed great each time. Collection only from Leeds. Thanks

I have a 92 US L2000. She's beautiful. She's my first and probably last proper bass. Got it from a guy round the corner from me about 3 years ago my only problem with it is I'm not too sure the treble eq knob is having much effect on the tone whereas the bass is heavy, heavy, heavy here's a pic

if you are anywhere near Leeds you would be welcome to try mine out. I have a 92 US L2000

Young Groove Bassist wanted for Brighton Indie/Funk/Rock band!

man. 10 years too old and 200 odd miles away. Shame -
go with the Franz Simandl in that case. and get yourself a teacher. You can do yourself some serious damage if you go it alone. Especially playing arco. It's a tough instrument. It still hurts me after almost 3 years. I can manage about 1 hr arco then 1hr pizz a day if I'm lucky. Good luck

Not sure what Mikrokosmos is but along with a good teacher you could try one or all of the three following books F Simandl book http://www.amazon.com/Method-Double-Bass-English-Japanese/dp/0825801524/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1377642065&sr=1-1 Rufus Reid Evolving Bassist http://www.amazon.com/Evolving-Bassist-Rufus-Reid/dp/0967601509/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1377642120&sr=1-1&keywords=rufus+reid and Ray Brown's Bass Method http://www.amazon.com/Browns-Method-Eagle-Large-Print/dp/0793594561/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1377642164&sr=1-1&keywords=ray+brown+book But seriously get yourself a teacher Ash

Ahh, I only did a bit. It wasnt too bad but when it comes to doing anything that requires writing I seem to put it off. I just finished my BA and left my dissertation till the week it had to be handed in. Since I'm not actually getting any real qualification from this I will no doubt be really slack and just not bother and only do bits of the course cos I'm really good at being a bit crap at stuff :/ -

Y
How did you get on? Here's my playalong https://soundcloud.c...improv-lesson-1
Yeah, not bad actually. Here's my link. http://soundcloud.com/a-sagar/gary-burton-jazz-improv-lesson I'm listening to yours at the moment. Nice, nice phrasing once you get into the higher registers (the low end it quite hard to hear). How are you getting on with the new homework? I'm finding the first scale (A lydian b7) a bit of a bugger learning all over the neck but the others aren't too bad. -
