Well, I haven't had any issues with mine falling apart, but I know a few people have upgraded theirs.

    One here, very different tuners

Thanks for this I’ll check them out.

Pictures would help. Also - what are you doing to them that they "keep falling apart" on you? Even the cheapest tuners tend to stay in one piece, even if they're not very good at tuning.

Good point, here are some pics.  I’m not abusing it particularly, but it does get gigged regularly. As you can see from the pics the ear just falls out of the shaft which looks badly corroded? This has happened twice now. I also managed to break one of the tuners when the bass fell over.
Remarkably I found a guy selling just the neck and tuners from a TMB 30 which I bought for spares. I’ve now only got one left so need a decent replacement hence the post.

  3. Does anyone know what tuners would retrofit in an Ibanez Talman TMB 30 bass.

Love the bass, but the tuners keep falling apart on me. This is a cheap bass so I don’t mind putting something decent on there, but don’t want to be drilling or filling old screw holes etc.

  4. I really do think Fender are damned of they do and damned if they don't.

They are in many ways cursed by having the 2 if not 3 most popular (and well used) bass designs ever! P,J, T.

Like many of us on here, I spend most of my time playing a P bass and when I'm not I'm sort of wishing I was.

I say good on them for at least trying to offer something slightly different.

  5. Boss VO-1 Vocoder. Unleash your inner Daft Punk. Works nicely on bass too. Crazy pedal! Nice vid here on how it sounds and works.

Pedal itself is mint and includes the box and paperwork although the original manual is missing I’ve added a print out of the pdf. Price includes UK postage.

  6. Now sold!

Classic Boss BF-2 Flanger, nice MIJ version 1988 according to the serial. Has the old black Roland knobs too.

Good working order, obvious signs of use in line with the age of the pedal. Bottom label is unfortunately missing. No box or instructions. Price includes UK postage.81EBA3BF-4F3F-4695-9D49-B31A69C99C35.jpeg.cb863511eacbec2e035723e5eb5907f6.jpeg

  7. Well used but fully working classic transistor combo. This is the silver stripe model, which seems to be favoured by those in the know.

Great platform for pedals, virtually indestructible.

    Comes with original footswitch.

Collection only from London N21. Demos and cups of tea encouraged.
