  1. As if Chris needed any more feedback for you to be convinced.

Bought an Ampeg PF-50t amp head from him. Deal was super smooth. He was also super accommodating as I was really busy at the time and I took is a while to organise me picking it up.

Had a quick play of the amp and a nice chat on collection.

Needless to say I super happy with the amp and would highly recommend him as a seller. I somehow suspect this won’t be the last time we meet.

    Until then, cheers!

  2. Bought a Pedaltrain board from Kev, super easy purchase. Item exactly as described, great comms and super quick postage.

    Highly recommended.

Any ideas where i could get a saddle screw for my MarloweDK. One of the locking screws is missing, possibly since buying it 2nd hand. Its never made any difference to playability.

    Dave

Following this as I’m in the same boat. - missing saddle screw.

    cheers

Yes, however it will run from a pair of 9V batteries.

  6. Just got my Tele bass back from having some badly needed restoration. It had been horrendously stripped and badly re-lacquered in the 70’s, The frets were also practically flush with the fretboard. As it was not playing well It had sat in its case for many years. My good friend recently offered to have a have a go at refretting it. As the job continued he also (after much back and forth on the colour) fancied a bash at refinishing it. We went with a nitro blonde as I wanted to be as faithful as possible to the factory finish, but is asked him to use nitro and keep the wear on the body where your forearm sits and the deeper dinks. We also deliberated for ages on the correct fret wire, which we eventually found. His amazing work has rejuvenated this bass to the very playable and phenomenal looking instrument you see below, I’m over the moon!

in scene or patch mode, I can flip between Scene A and Scene B, can't I?

Yes, it’s really two parallel pathways; A or B, but you can stick whatever you want in each path. Best plan is to have a core tone and add the extra bits you want into pathway B.

You also have a tonnes of assigns with the Boss stuff so you can change the settings of all the effects in your chain using a single click of the CTRL pedal.
