Bought a Fender Rumble 500 combo from Steve.
It arrived exactly when he said it would and was packed to survive a bomb blast! Needless to say the amp inside was immaculate.
Super easy deal, I'd be very happy to do the same again.

Might be a bit out of fashion, maybe weighs a bit more than a GR 410 - but what an absolute cracker for the price of a pair of boots.
The CD-in on front has a nice retro air!
Bargain of the month👍Thank you for the kind words, hopefully it’ll be on its way to a new home soon.

Which biscuits?
We have a selection, but if it’s a deal breaker you can name your biscuit of choice.

*SOLD*
Aria STB bass in white, with what I believe is a stained Walnut fretboard.
Overall in nice clean condition with very few marks and one small dink in the tummy cut (see pics).
Sounds (unsurprisingly) like a Jazz Bass and has really good build quality.
Would suit a beginner or make a good backup bass.
Collection in person from London N21 at this stage, but might be able to post (with an addition cost) if I can find some decent packing materials/box etc.
Happy to demo it here too, I'll even throw in a free cup of tea and a biscuit.

*Price Drop £135*
Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 4x4 power supply. In very good used condition with all original packaging, connector leads, warranty card, manual, sticker and mounting brackets.
This one will power the Line 6 and Strymon stuff too, but you'll need addition connection doublers etc.
I bought this from eBay about 2 years ago with the intention of making the mother of all pedalboards, unfortunately I never got round to it and I've changed my setup now were back to gigging to be more compact. This has just sat in its box ever since.
I should mention that it came to me with 8x straight to right angle power connector which appear to be Mooer branded, rather than 6x straight to right angle and 2x Straight to straight. However, this does not affect to performance - just wanted to give full disclosure.

Postage in the UK included in the price or you can collect from London N21 and I'll knock off a few quid!

These are brilliant. Big and solid, and easier to use than you might think. GLWTS.
This is a very comprehensive unit. Very robust, just much more than I need currently. -

Hi,
Is this boxed, or does it come with the soft case that you mention in the write up?
Thanks!
Sorry, only just seen this. I don’t have the original box, but I will pack it up well to post.
The soft case is just a generic Gator case which I wasn’t planning to include, but if it’s a deal breaker I’m sure we could work something out. -
*Withdrawn - decided to keep them for the time being and give them another go. Thanks to everyone who got in touch.
Here are a matched pair of the remarkable Barefaced ONE10 speakers bought from this forum a few years ago.
These were a special order using a coating on the cabs to avoid the peeling tolex that these seem so susceptible to. - I've tried to capture it in the pics. These also have the funky retro silver grill cloth.
I am lucky enough to own these and a pair of Bergs and despite the extra size and weight, the Bergs win. As a result these are virtually mint as they have seen about 3 gigs in the few years I've owned them. They come supplied with the Barefaced soft covers too.
Happy to split at £300 each (which is what I paid for them) or I'll do the pair for £550. This is a massive saving on the new price (£499 with cover, each!) and thats without the lovely cabinet coating.
Here is a review from the Barefaced website, that amusingly I wrote! banging on about how good these things are.
Demos very much welcome in London N21 Winchmore Hill.
*Edit* Price does not include postage!- 6

*price drop* £25!
I have a pair of ancient Carlsbro monitors that I inherited from a long since defunkt band. They are now taking up space in my house and I need them gone.
One has a 100watt power amp in it and the other is passive and can be run from the active one.
These are far from being top end wedges, but I have changed the speaker in the passive one for an Eminence Gamma 10" 8 Ohm speaker with a view to using it as a small bass cab. which did work.
Collection only and demos welcome from London N21 Winchmore Hill.

*price drop* £80!
Fender Rumble 100 combo I picked up when I bought a bass from that well know auction site.
Literally haven't used it other than to check it switched on (which it did). Side carpet has bobbled a little bit, but that doesn't affect the sound!
Has casters which makes it much easier to manoeuvre. Also has a funky red light that flashes when you play - No, really!!
Happy to take near offers in cash, demos welcome (frankly, encouraged), collection only from London N21 Winchmore Hill.

Boss RC-300 Loop Station. Bought this for a project that never got going, has sat in a gigbag ever since. Needs to go to a good home.
In very good used condition, fully working and I'll include a generic 9V DC -ve tip adapter to use with it.
User manual here:

Happy to post for an extra few quid or you can come and collect/demo it here in London N21 Winchmore Hill.

Keep playing them, they will eventually become as smooth as the proverbial bottom!
I tend to buy my flats 2nd hand now so that someone else has broken them in for me!

Bought Si’s Squier Mustang bass. Really easy transaction, he even put the bass on hold for me whilst I was on holiday.
Top man.

I've been looking at this as have a dep gig in a few weeks where I really need one or I'll be changing basses nearly every song!
I borrowed a friend's HX FX for a rehearsal last night and used the Simple Pitch effect. Was absolutely brilliant, even when playing double stops or three note chords. Didn't even bother trying the new polyphonic options which are supposed to be even better. I had a HX about 18 months ago, and sold it in preference of building up a board again (having sold all my pedals to by the HX 🤣), but have to say that having used one again last night I am really tempted to get one again. Given a decent detune pedal is £100+, and you can pick up an HX FX for less than £300 second hand, and on top of all the other effects of has tuner, looper, and also bass pedal for those Geddy Lee moments!!
Obviously this is available on all the helix variants and the go, so certainly something to consider.
This ☝️ I’ve tried a lot of pitch shifters and the Helix one is amazing.

As for the LED issue, I bought a B100r with the pilot light assembly completely missing. I used the method documented here to repair:
B100R pop on shutoff
I used a 5mm clear blue LED, chrome LED holder and a 2k2 1w resistor in series to avoid any mucking around with the board.
Worked a treat, just thought I’d share. -
Do you mean a loop for you signal chain to blend the signal or a looper pedal like a boss RC-1/ TC ditto etc.?

These are excellent, best bass chorus I've ever used - Thick and chewy! GLWTS.
-
I’d also add that the output on the 1025x is really hot. You’ll need to dial the input gain back a bit. I suspect that the high output of the bass and the high zoom preset level is the problem. I’ve recorded my 1025x loads of times and it sounds great.

Post your pedal board - Basschat style!!

Not the most interesting or expensive board, but it’s really functional. Im using the FS-7 to scroll up and down through the patches. This means the three footswitches are assignable to various effects.
Irritatingly the GT-1B uses the first effects block for the compressor so I’ve ended up using the MXR instead.
I’m really enjoying this setup and finding it really versatile and cost effective.
