They must have changed it then. Originally they said no polytune in bass mode.
Perhaps thats why it won't track well for me then? it's somewhat of a gimmick though, I bought it for the size more than anything. -

Does a Looperlative LP1 count?
Don't see why not. Looks very interesting and expensive, so I guess it qualifies. -

You can't strum on the PolyTune mini, as far as I know.
You can, but it doesn't track that well on bass. Tuning strings individually as normal tracks fine though. Only difference between the mini and the normal Polytune is that the mini won't take a battery, It has to be powered by psu.
For my two penneth I'd advise you get a Boss TU-2 second hand. They are cheap, gig proof, tune accurately and can be seen easily on stage.
That said, the Sonic Research tuner is the best, but not the cheapest. -
I'm not sure I can be great deal of help, but you may have picked up a bit of a bargain there:

Looks like you need an separate power cable as well as a step down transformer.
Always worth a quick look here for info too:

Best of luck. -

ODB-3
BJF 3BOD for me as well, though i am on their list so maybe in 12 months time!!
Also, an original version of the maestro (?) pedal MCA used on gratitude and sabotage, i forget what its called
Think the pedal on Sabotage is a Univox U-1095 Super-Fuzz so we can add that to the list!

+1 on the Love Tone Meatball
I'd love to get a Boss Slow Gear. I do have the Behringer clone, which works fine, but there's something about having a rare £200+ pedal that no one uses...
Oh, and there was a weird Boss synth pedal once, the Wave Generator IIRC - it was a twin pedal and used a thirteen pin roland style cable. Would love to have a go with that one.
Apparently you can mod a Boss NF-1 to work in reverse as it the exact same circuit! a much cheaper option.
The Boss Wave processor http://www.bossarea.com/other/wp20g.asp requires a Roland GK MIDI pickup to work as does the Poly Octave http://www.bossarea.com/other/oc20g.asp I'd like to try both too.
Thanks for all your replies, some pedals mentioned I'd not been aware of till now. I'll add them to the GAS pile. -
Good call on the Animato, forgot about that one.
Also all the Moog stuff. -
I would be interested to know what effects you'd like to try but haven't been able to, either due to their rarity or prohibitively high cost.
Here's mine:

Distortion

Echo

very tempted by the octaver.

Popped round to see Mark yesterday and purchased his Cowpoke P bass.
Had a nice chat, whilst he explained the basses history for me since he has had it.
Added a few extras like pots and stuff to do it up, and his advice all for free.
Looking forward to getting the soldering iron warmed up to pacify the poke.
Cheers again Mark
