1. I don't know enough the Sr 5 and don't know at all the Cort but i would say 1 Cort and 2 Stingray because i have the feeling that something is a bit more Musicmanish in the second clip. Edit: i really don't know. The pickups seems not to be in the same position so the sound of the Cort should be more focus/precise, less rond. that's why i have a doubt. I find the second clip a little bit more growly/agressive in the lower register.
2. For me Spitfire are best repro but they don't look as good as a true guard. A guy sells a 64 tortoise guard in Belgique for quite the same price it would cost you for a Spitfire. https://www.zikinf.com/annonces/dispannonce.php?annonce=1489672
3. My perfect bass to play in my band ( rock style ) is my 65 jazz bass. I like the feeling and the sound. 45/105 round strings with pick. To play at home acutally it is Fender Marcus Miller Japan with 40/100 with lower action. Very good for slap. So my perfect bass is a jazz bass i guess.
4. I bought an Aguilar Ag 500 to Itzing. Was complete with bag, power cable and rackmount ears. Appreciate. Easy transaction and fast shipping.
5.
Yep - full neck plate here: As a non G&L expert can I ask the significance of the neck plate?
G&L changed the 3 bolt neck plate for 6 bolt around end of 90'.. Morover serial numbers appears on neck plate so i guess here are the reason of the question.
6. As described, fast shipping, good communication. Thank you.
7. Hello, these early 80' production are underrated. I had a elite and special pbass respectively from 83 and 82 and both had great luthery according to me so i guess this jazz bass don't derogate to the rule. So have a free bump on my account. Is it heavy ? Did the Schaller bridge need new holes ?
8. Sorry, i don't know my classics. https://www.chicagom...doubleneck-bass
9. Hello, for sale only is my old Bc Rich ( 1978 i guess ). Bought in Japan ( vintage shop..i will give you the name because i don't remember ) Neck has been refretted and truss has been changed. All work made by technician in the Japanese shop. Very good work, frets are very shiny, truss is efficient. Bass is light ( under 9 Lbs ) with all original electronic that works very well. Overall good condition with some dings..see photos. I paid a little bit more than the asking price ( imagine duty and shipping from Japan..) so it's not negotiable. I ship everywhere in Europe at your expense. Original case is included. 10. Hello, for sale only is my Bravewood purchased here on Bc a few months ago. All original with Bare Knucle pickups. The only cosmetic issue is the bent G tuner with no incidence on the playability. Resonant, responsive, growly with bottom. Frets aren't used and the truss rod works very well ( smooth and efficient ) Weight is 4,330 kgs ( 9,5 Lbs ) With original Hiscox hard case. Please ask me for a shipping cost. Price drop => 1660 £ https://drive.google...cU0?usp=sharing
11. Forgot to ad my feedback to Fretless Bob. I bought him a reddi few months ago. Good communication at the beginning. Once i paid, communication slow down so i started to be frighten. The explication is that fretless bob is very ocupied with music and he is not one of us always behind computer. All ended well, i received my reddi. The led was not functional once at home so i send to repairman that fixed it and fretless bob took this at his own expense. Very serious guy. You can deal with confidence.
12. Maybe not the best demo ever done but could give an idea. There's no doubt it's yours: https://youtu.be/-eLXaLvB2K4
13. All went for the best with Alberto. He bought my Aguilar preamp.
14.
Is the neck gun oiled, or is it lacquered please ? Forgive my ignorance about Sterlings - Ive an early 90s ray 5 with a lacquered neck, which I like a lot.

It is lacquered and has never been touched since new.
I've never heard about lacquered neck on Sterling.

17. Hello, for sale only is my Super P5. I need place for others basses that are coming home so absolutely no trade. Overall good condition except some dings. please see attached photos. When i bought it used, the tone was not working but i repaired it by changing the pot. This is a special tone that works as a mid cut in a way and a normal tone in the other way. (hope i'm clear). The original pot had an evident detent center and the one i used has one too but i don't know why, we feel it less once the knob is on the pot so it's a bit difficult to feel the center but we can get used though. To be noticed a little scratch noise when going to one position to other so in the center position ( i put spray contact but noise is still there ) Frets are good. Well setted. The radius fingerboard is high so the fingerboard is quite flat and the bass is easy to play with no fret buzz and low action. The previous owner did not choose an extra long scale strings set so the B string is a bit too short so the splice is on the nut. Strings are Elixir and i did not replaced them because i did not find Dingwall Strings with the good scale. ( 32" to 35" ) Bass is light: 3,7kgs = 8,15 lbs. Sounds like a good pbass. Price is including shipping for Europe. https://drive.google...Tzg&usp=sharing EDIT: the screw you can see on one of the photo is the truss rod nut that i have fully unscrew and pulled out to grease it. Truss rod is fully functional.
