1. Stunning Si - worth the wait mate! Happy out
 2. Gorgeous WoT!! Is that a split coil humbucker? Happy playing
 3.
Great looking bass Si
Cheers Si
 4.
Fab. I'll see how I get on with the Maruszczyk's in mine. Hopefully they'll be fine. I thought about going for another custom build, but the colour, spec (and weight!) of this one appealed to me so I thought I'd have a punt. The board looks a little bit flamey, too. Yum.
TBH - I don't think that you can wrong with the Maruszczyk's. The weight of mine was not custom either and it's perfect. Light as a feather compared with my 'Ray Enjoy!
 5.
Oof.. that's pretty! What pickups and electronics are in there?
They are Delano's in a P/JJ config - Passive. The JJ is a Delano Humbucker - Split Coil - MC4AL custom pickup. They are custom made for Adrian I believe.
 6. Beautiful!! Our spec's seem to have been very close WoT! Mine arrived last Wednesday and has blown me away - playability, tone, craftsmanship, the whole nine yards. So much so that I have not put it down to take any detailed photos (but I will!!) Here's the one that Adrian sent over just before the bass shipped.
 7.
No, i haven't had the email to say it's finished yet Possibly taken a little longer because I requested 33" scale, which isn't standard for them, and also a chambered body. Si
Hold in there mate, has to be really soon now! I got an email from Adrian last Friday to say it was ready. Final payment later and it was shipped on Sunday and arrived in Dublin today Happy out to say they lease - reports to come!!
 8.
So today is the 'deadline' for my 10 week wait Hopefully i'll be receiving the finished email soon, maybe sometime this week, excited Si
Just got an update from Fedex to say that mine has been delivered to my home today!!! The wait is finally over Si Any sign of yours yet?

 10. Let me know if the trade does not happen. Thanks
 11. Here you go Si, it's a real treat. Check out this video on YouTube: http://youtu.be/OmTP1Sbf5Qo
 12. That's really brilliant, delighted for ya! What a beauty!! Fantastic description of all aspects of the bass, happy playing!
 13. That's really brilliant, delighted for ya! Sounds like it could not have been any better. I wondered about the maple necks also, great to hear that they are the same quality as the rest of the woods used. (Not that I should have doubted the quality at all really) Speaking of quality I came across a video on YouTube of their production set up in Germany. Talk about craftsmen at work it was really fantastic to see the process involved in the build of each bass or guitar. Between that video and now your post ....................... I wonder how many more sleeps I have before my Jake arrives
 14.
Adrian has been a legend with me, very patient and answering a LOT of emails, often in the evenings and weekends! It pays off though, as we got through my spec, and then I put down the deposit. This industry is littered with people who don't quite have the level of pre-sales commitment and so no-doubt lose customers in the early spec stage. Si
+1 to that! - Exactly the same experience with Adrian.
 15.
now that's yet another beautiful Maruszczyk, absolutely stunning! I remember asking this forum about any Maruszczyk owners some time ago, and perhaps had two responses with only one owner... it was not that long ago and yet it seems the love for this brand has all of a sudden exploded in a matter of a year or two. Adrian, btw, is the coolest dude ever, so don't get too worried about his (as you guys put it) "limited English", maybe you should try his fluent German or Polish? (so what's your superpower, eh? )
Yes, there seems to be a well deserved surge of interest with the brand and based on all of the feedback quite rightly so. Your right though - Adrian's English is certainly not as "limited" as my German or Polish and he has been fantastic to deal with.
 16. It's official Adrian, simple does not make bad looking basses!!! Love it man and I can't believe it's ready so quickly!!!!! How long did you have to wait?
 17.
Very nice, i've emailed Adrian a few times and he always seems quite grumpy and not that helpful as I keep asking questions about narrow necks and narrow string spaces!!
I think that it really is a language issue more so than anything else. From my own experience, my emails were rather long, detailed and seeking suggestions/ advice in the main. Mostly the responses were short, though provided the information needed perfectly (minimalist ) I think, he's a very busy man with a lot of orders at the same time (from this forum alone) and that his English is limited.
 18.
It's nice to see a few more expectant Marus owners on the forum. They're just ridiculously good..
+1
 19.
Pretty quick - I think between five and six weeks. I was very surprised to get the email saying it was done today - I had expected to wait another couple of weeks at least.
5-6 Weeks, hopefully mine is as quick as that !! Enjoy man.
 20. Beautiful Elwood, for sure! Curious, how long did it take in the end ? (Hoping it was less than 10 weeks )
