SOLD Fender American Standard Hand Stained Ash Precision Bass. Complete with Fender SKB Case. £999 Collected from Lancashire (PR6) or can ship at cost. A Limited Edition Run for 2012. Only 150 of these made and only 45 made it to Europe. This is number 4 signed by Jeff Allen Good Condition, just a couple of minor marks, a corner of the pick guard missing and a little scar on the scratch plate near the truss rod heel adjustor. A few scuffs and scars on the body too. Apparently 150 were made, 45 got to Europe and 9 to the UK. The first 50 were signed by the VP quality control at the Corona plant. Complete with new style SKB Fender Case and candy. The FENDER® American Standard Hand Stained Ash Precision Bass® makes some great updates to a legendary instrument! Yes - I've had both. The 121H, to my ears, is much fuller and more 'open' sounding. The horn is much better than the piezo in the CMD121P. Certainly a worthwhile upgrade - in my opinion of course. it does works better as a one cab option. Fender 1996/7 ' 62 RI MIJ Japan Left Handed Jazz Bass with upgraded pre amp and bridge. £599 shipped Mainland UK. The upgrades are: John East J-Retro preamp Gotoh bridge. In overall good condition for the age (1996/97), a few bumps and scratches as shown in the photographs. A ding underneath the control plate (below the 3rd knob), a ding on the upper horn, a lacquer crack or small repair behind the nut and some thumb wear over the pickup. As mentioned, they are shown in the photographs and are worth of a mention. The bass is over 20 years old so it has the usual wear that you could expect of a 20 year old instrument. The bass as some excellent upgrades:Fitted with a John East J-Retro preamp, giving must more variation and control than the normal electrics. Also fitted is the Gotoh bridge. Fender serial number checker says that the history of the bass is: Manufactured in the Fuji-gen Plant (for Fender Japan), Japan in 1996 - 1997
