  1. Yes, it will be shipped in a case / gig bag (happy to agree on which with any potential buyer) then into a sturdy outer box.
  2. Weight is 3.51kg or 7lb 11oz
  3. I was asked to confirm the weight: Digital kitchen scales photos below:
  4. Up for sale is my Warwick Streamer Stage 1 from 1992 - Given the below I'd prefer a buyer to view the instrument. ****Since Original Listing The Bass I have been contacted by a previous owner and an employee of Wilkes Guitars***** ****Comments are copied below - with permission***** The previous owner has contacted me to say that the bass was professionally repaired by Dougie Wilkes Of Wilkes Guitars. The bass had a knock that caused the crack. The headstock was not detached. The age of this repair is approx 8 years ago. ********************************************* Also from a Wilkes Guitar Employee Hi, I’ve just come across your Warwick bass and saw Doug Wilkes name so read the description. I was actually Doug’s assistant (one of many) and I remember this bass in the workshop. I was there in 2013/2014. I wouldn’t worry about it, once Doug has repaired a guitar it’s better than new ********************************************* All flame maple body and neck (I believe), wenge fingerboard. Very little fretwear indeed. The stock electrics have been changed to EMG pickups complete with EMG pots and wiring (and knobs!). The bass is quite light at 3.62kg on digital kitchens scales, that just under 8lb! There are a few scars on the body and a little wear over the P pickup as shown in the photos but overall in pretty decent shape for a 28 year old bass. Now then - Full disclosure, the bass at some point in its life suffered the almost legendary for some Warwicks of this era - a neck / lacquer split / crack at the headstock end. Please see photos, I am more than happy to provide any more information and photos are requested. I've taken many photos of the neck and below I've attached the best ones. I, of course, realise this may put off many a potential buyer. I'd describe this crack as minor, I hope that my feedback and reputation on here gives some comfort to any potential buyer. I'd say it has had a crack but never completely broke off completely as the crack doesn't extend along the full width of the neck as far as I can see. The neck is functionally fine and the truss is sound and adjustable. Also, note that the truss rods are easily user replaceable in these early non volute Warwicks. In my opinion there is no ongoing issues whatsoever with this now or with any repair that was historically made. This is not something that negatively influences the playability whatsoever in my view - the bass is well set up and tweaking the relief action and truss rod to suit is not a problem - I've adjusted it many times.
  5. Squier Bass Neck from a Pete Wentz Bass £29 shipped mainland uk. Broken / think of this as a project. There is an issue with the truss rod - it doesn't appear to adjust at all / correctly. It feels as though the nut is about to 'grab' then it slips again.
  6. Sold a book to Adam. Easy, straightforward deal. Would be more than happy to deal with again.
  7. A case or gig bag, whichever would be the preference of the buyer. Then into a sturdy outer box.
  8. Bass is still currently available. Shipping to Mainland UK is included. Bass weight 4.52kg on digital kitchen scales.
  9. SBP2 now sold. SBP1 still available.
  10. Don't think so, only finished building it a couple of weeks ago.
  11. Epifani Tour Rig - Tour 555 Combo (Piccolo Amp & 210 Cab) and Tour 210 Cabinet. £1200 Collected. Up for sale is my Epifani Rig which is made up of: The Tour 555 Combo and the Tour 210 Cabinet. This really is a great modular rig that would cover almost any venue. Selling with a heavy heart - I became unemployed at the beginning of March, the job market is quiet at the moment so I need to be sensible and raise funds from the arsenal. Details are: Combo - Tour 555 Configuration Single Channel Preamp Class-D Power Amp Switch-Mode Power Supply 2 x 10-inch 225-watt Epifani Neodymium drivers by Eminence 1 x 1-inch compression tweeter with adjustable control Impedance 8 Ohms Power Rating Amp: 550 Watts RMS @ 4 Ohms Cabinet: 450 Watts RMS Extension Speaker-Ready Response Amp: 20 Hz - 25 kHz Cabinet: 42Hz - 16kHz Sensitivity: 100dB (1W@1m) Voltage 120 Volts or 240 Volts, 50 or 60 Hz 550 Watts consumption at full power Connections 2x Speakon + 1/4-inch output connectors Hardware Lite Ply with dado joint construction with vinyl covering. Steel recessed handles and an 18-gauge steel grill Dimensions 22.7 inches (h) x 19 (w) inches x 16.7 inches (d) Weight 45 pounds =============================================================== Condition is very good, just a few minor scuffs and scrapes. They also have homemade covers to help protect the cabinets. £1200 for the combo and extension cabinet. £799 for the combo and £449 for the cabinet - ideally I'd want to sell as a pair as it makes a great rig. Social distancing collection preferred but can look into shipping if absolutely necessary. I'm based in Chorley Lancashire.
  12. £199 shipped Mainland UK or can be collected via social distancing from Chorley Lancs.
  13. Thanks.....Yes, I think so.
  14. Spector Euro 5 String - Natural £1199 Now £999 Collected, socially distanced from me in Lancashire, shipping in the UK possible for £30. No Trades. Natural finish - 35" scale. The serial number dates to 2005. The pre amp is the standard tonepump pre amp from this time. Please see the photographs, it's a colour which is a little tricky to capture the actual colour 100% accurately. I'd say in the flesh it is a little darker than the photos which are at the paler end of the scale, and similarly a little paler than those photos which appear to have the yellow hue. The actual colour is somewhere in the middle of those. There are a number of minor marks on the bass as shown in the photographs, these are from thumb placement above the pickup and one small dent on the bass. Overall its in very good condition for a 15 year old bass. These are just the normal wear to be expected from a 15 year old instrument. £1199 shipped Mainland UK, or collect from Chorley Lancashire.
  15. £550 shipped Mainland UK
  16. Sold some MM bits to Andy. A pleasure, would happily deal with again.
  17. The full bass here (including 2 x 9v batteries of course!!) is 5.4kg
  18. Happy to listen to / be tempted by a PM offer, though that said my preference would be to hold out for selling the full bass as it as in its full build for a while, it does work so well as a whole.
  19. Now Sold Pending Here is my - MM USA SUB (Stingray) 4 String complete with John East 2 Band Pre Amp - £575 Shipped Mainland UK. John East Pre Amp: https://www.east-uk.com/index.php/bass/mmsr/mmsr-3-knob-2-band.html As you'll most likely know this "is" a Stingray. These USA basses were made alongside Stingrays etc in the USA Ernie Ball factory in San Louis Obispo. Reputedly Ernie Ball stopped making these as they were too good for the money / EB were loosing money on each on they sold and cannibalising the sales of the top of the range Stingrays. The bass plays nicely, its well set up and has all the usual Stingray tones and punch, currently wearing flats but can switch to rounds if you'd prefer. USA Musicman quality , classic Stingray sounds and in very good playing condition. A few areas of wear on the body and some wear to the black finish on the edges of the headstock as shown in the photographs. Also, some scraping off of the paint on the neck close to where it meets the scratchplate.
  20. As the world is currently on pause - rightly so - and I have no income, I'll be listing up lots of items in the next few days. Here is my Squier Precision - Made In Korea - Early 90s - £SOLD Dates from early 90's - This bass has had a relatively tough life as can be seen from the dings, dents and tarnishing. Things to note: Dings and dents to the body, particularly the underside of the body. The D string machine head ferrule is missing - please see photo. I bought this as a project bass with an iffy truss rod - this was sorted by my local luthier (nut stripped out and lubed). There was a small crack on the truss rod access near the nut, this can be seen in the photo and has now been glued and is stable. Truss rod now adjust fine and I have had various strings with various tensions all set up and adjusted for playability fine for the suitable amount of relief via the truss rod. All things considered, a c30 year old bass, a few cosmetic areas but plays fine. A decent bass for not a lot of cash - £160 shipped Mainland UK.
  21. Here is my Bitsa Jazz bass - £349 shipped Mainland UK. Will now part this out. £150 for the raw body only no hardwear - price is shipped mainland UK. £150 for the neck only - price is shipped mainland UK. The body is a custom made jazz bass body, 2 piece ash, africa wedge top. A great playing and sounding bass. Unknown Jazz pickups, with a passive Volume / Voume / Tone Wiring (Note not the EMG's as shown in the photos - I will update new photos ASAP). As this is a Bitsa project build - things to note: Body - note the visible join on the where top, can be seen between the A & D strings, also a small scar on the upper face of the body, above the pickups. Neck - Maple Generic Neck, lovely flame on the back. A couple of B stock elements on this neck: 1 - the tuner holes are not drilled quite flush so the tuners sit slightly proud, see photo. 2 - The think varnish on the neck has left some witness marks of varnish on the neck itself close to where it meets the neck pocket, again please see photo. I may be open to parting out, removing the pickups and loom if you wanted to use you own simpler/more cost effective set up on that etc.
