Squier Precision - Made In Korea - Early 90s, Red / Maple - Now SOLD £160 Chorley

As the world is currently on pause - rightly so -  and I have no income, I'll be listing up lots of items in the next few days.

 

Here is my Squier Precision - Made In Korea - Early 90s - £SOLD

 

Dates from early 90's - This bass has had a relatively tough life as can be seen from the dings, dents and tarnishing.

 

Things to note:

Dings and dents to the body, particularly the underside of the body.

The D string machine head ferrule is missing  - please see photo.

I bought this as a project bass with an iffy truss rod - this was sorted by my local luthier (nut stripped out and lubed).  There was a small crack on the truss rod access near the nut, this can be seen in the photo and has now been glued and is stable.

Truss rod now adjust fine and I have had various strings with various tensions all set up and adjusted for playability fine for the suitable amount of relief via the truss rod.

 

All things considered, a c30 year old bass, a few cosmetic areas but plays fine.

A decent bass for not a lot of cash - £160 shipped Mainland UK.

Mmm, strawberry and cream. I'm not supposed to like a maple board but, well, this sure looks nice.
