1. (The Time Traveller's Chant) What do we want? TIME TRAVEL! When do we want it? IT'S IRRELEVANT! Can someone pass me my coat?
2. I'm more than happy to split the items up (although they may sulk, but they'll get over it....) Possibly even a meet up may be do-able too. Feel free to shoot me a PM. The vol au vents will be extra tho'...
3. Hey Jack and Phil.... Whilst undertaking this 12 hour round trip from the West Midlands to Maidenhead and Newcastle and then back, would you like me to pick you up some shopping on the way? A selection of delicious canapes and a case of fine wines? But seriously, sadly I'm not heading in either direction in the near future, but I can get a quote for posting the cab and head out. The head won't be too scarey, but the cab weighs about as much as Anglesey.
Uncomplicated indestructable amps that sound like a bass amp should, loud, clean and bassy.
Thanks Spacey. Yes. They are and they do.
4. MalFunktion.
5. Sold pending the usual
6. Price Drop Easter Egg bump
7. Good Friday bump
8. Nearly Easter price drop bump!
9. SOLD Here we have a groovy little EBS Bass IQ pedal. Not seen much action from me - I've tried to squeeze a little Funk into my Classic Rock band, but they're all bigger than me and they just scowl... Decent condition, works great and comes boxed with the paperwork. [s]£80[/s] £70 gets it sent out to you so you can funk yourself senseless in your own living room. Questions...? 10. I saw him in Sheffield earlier this year and he played a blinder. What could have been going through the guys head at the time, no-one knows. An original. And massively influential. I hope you've enjoyed the ride, Wilko.
11. Huge thanks to Kev for coming down all the way from Chester in the less-than-Springlike weather. His rewards were a cup of dreadful coffee, a quick stroke of my Guinea Pigs (not a euphemism...) and the loverlee Bassbaton. Shame on you Midlanders for not grabbing this before now, but it's in good hands. The legend continues. And speaking of legends, here's one for the laydeez....
12. GONE GONE GONE Sadly, due to a hospital appointment (not me, but the dad of the person I was going with), I have two tickets for Paul Rodgers & Deborah Bonham 30th March 2013 @ The Venue, Spur Rd, Chichester W. Sussex PO19 9PR UK [s]They're £32 each, so £64 gets 'em to you and I'll swallow the handling fees and sundry charges.[/s] Your chance to see a Rock Legend at a rare UK gig. All for a good cause too. There's an auction and all kinds of good stuff as well. Postage will be dependant on when you pounce - if you get in quick, then standard mail will work...any later than Thursday and it'll be £5.90 for the 24 hour service. 13. Yay! Come and get it! Drop me a PM and I'll get the kettle on.
14. SOLD ON EBAY! Who wants a Rock Beast setup then? For sale here we have [s]my lovely Peavey NitroBass amp - 450 watts and its nicely matched AMP SOLD! JUST CAB AVAILABLE - 410 TX cab - 700 watts at 8 ohms.[/s] Both are in decent nick - the usual minor battle scars from gigging, but nothing too major. Big fat sound. Nothing beats American made Peavey gear for sturdy, reliable rockin' kit. Both amp and cab are solid as the proverbial rock which means they'll definitely survive being thrown about in the back of the van. [s]CAB £120 + Post[/s] I may even be open a trade if we don't want to dirty our hands with money. Lemme know whatcha got...what's the worst that can happen? I can post 'em, but that'll be extra. These puppies ain't light. Based in Halesowen in Wild West Midlands. Feel free to come over and try 'em out, but bring biscuits.
15. Hofner BeatleBass? I've got the budget version and its nice and light, short scale and sounds great. Pretty cheap from Thomann too...
16. Well, I survived Heather - mainly due to the rather scrummy Pie and Chips I scoffed between sets. (Note to self...NEVER eat a big meal in a 10 minute break between sets...) Apart from completely pooching 'My Brother Jake', we played well and I got home intact. If slightly bloated. My next gig is April 12 (The Roadhouse, Birmingham) so if anyone can use it before then, please get in touch for a handover. I'd hate to think people have forgotten about this.... Rushbo x
