1. Obviously if it goes for 30 then I'll get it
2. Yea, I won't increase my bid any higher than that, especially after what you've said so thank you
3. They want £50 for buy it now which IMO is a bit too much I offered £40 but they want to let the auction run so I've just put the opening £30 bid on it
4. Nice one thanks everyone. So I'll be on the look out for that then! Thanks
5. I may just get a Mooer Tender Octaver instead, but would still be interested to know about the BSW
6. As the title really. Struggling to find anywhere online for a decent price. There's one on eBay for just over 80 which IMO is way too much. Has this been discontinued? Thanks
7. You can't really make out the small dents in the picture, I also aged the hardware too and reshaped the headstock. The aging round the pickup was also there before the scpb3 went in. The little red/black bit next to the pickup is my DIY thumb rest, made out of small piece of yoga matt screwed in The first picture isn't directly straight on, otherwise my mug would have made it into the picture!
8. All I had was a chisel, hammer and some sandpaper, so took a long time, 3 hours. I had to widen it both vertically and horizontally as you look at it
9. I've just put a SD SCPB3 in mine. It was slightly bigger than the cavity so had to sort that out. But sounds great
10. I think I'm going to check out the scpb3 quarter pounder. I'll try to remember to post how I get on
11.
Haha, I don't know how much of this wear is genuine at all, but not too much fuss if it picks up a knock or two. Can't think of many other £3k basses you could say that about...
Lol either way it looks great!
12. Nothing better than a well used well worn bass. Lovely!
13. I really regret having to sell the vintage white one, looked great and played great. So that's why I've gone for this, plus the maple neck just tops it off for me
14. I used to have 3 Dirnt Fenders at the same time!!! One in black, one vintage white and the other sunburst. I loved them but sadly had to sell them. So really looking forward to getting this one!
15. Put down a deposit. He said that he should be getting 2 in 7-10 days so I've secured one of them
16. The stacked is interesting, my problem with that is I like running the pickup really low so the strings and pick don't hit them so not sure with the stacked if I could get it low enough. So understood that everyone's take will be different and different styles etc but out of the three which has the most bass/low mids with the least treble?
17. http://r.ebay.com/cyo07a I like the look of that! Anyone tried one out or got one?
18. Thanks again don't worry meddle it's still helpful! I am actually replacing a wilko pup, I found it a bit harsh, always had to turn the tone down, I like running it on max so turning it down was annoying. I know how stupid that is but still....
19. Thanks that's good to know. Anyone else have any experience with these? How about the SCPB1?
20. I've seen on YouTube where Muse cock up the start of a song. Chris starts playing one song and Dom plays another, both songs have bass/drum intros so unless you're looking for it, it probably wouldn't have seemed wrong. Funny though. Another is Green Day's Mike Dirnt playing longview on the bullet in a Bible gig, he is moving up/down the steps and plays a duff note, sounded horrible but kept going. Found that funny too, it's nice to see the pros cocking up too!
