7. Hi mate.... I have an 85 for sale and I am asking £400 for mine, I admit I am including a case, new strings and a practice amp but minimum I would value this at would be £300 at most likely £350. Your right, these basses are very good to play, fast neck and light weight body so you can play all night without back ache. Highly recommended.
£300 maybe?
8. Not available as I need this since my 57 went to Ben....but pics here anyway. The bass has been set up by a local Music Shop and specialist, Stewart Field. Intonation is perfect, neck straight and all original hardware. The Plug socket has been replaced but that's it. The bass has the appropriate amount of wear with the usual small dinks here and there which IMHO give it more mojo and status. The bass is exceptional quality and superb to play, no buzzes and the action is medium. Specs Rosewood Fingerboard Maple neck (Bass wood) body White scratch plate Standard hardware Japanese PUPS Standard original POTS
 9. Mr Tut.... Love these basses and if I could find somewhere for it I would have it...got 3 Fenders already Have a bump on me.... Take it from me BCers these early Jap basses are fantastic. I already have one with the original white scratch plate and they play fantastic. They are light and punchy, great straight neck and the tone is superb. Kept original and I agree they are going to be even more collectable than ever...£400 is a good price... Good luck with the sale....
 10. Hi, Ok we'll do....
could do with one of these! if your ever 70 miles south (Bristol) let me know!
11. Hi mate... For the half hour I tried it, it was surprising in that, how powerful and loud it was for 15 watts! The EQ made a massive difference and I liked the vintage sounds if gives as well as the modern funky vibes when you select them. The Pre-amp is excellent as well as the compressor. Oh yes, it includes a compressor which is adjustable as well if you like your slap and pop! PM me if you are interested and thanks for the interest. N
ohm. ello neighbour. what are these like?
14. Welcome lefrash! The Aerodyne is a very nice looking Jazz indeed.... Don't blame you keeping it...
 15. This is peachy.... Luv the wood.... Bet this sounds well growly with that MM PUP... Enjoy!
walked into PMT leeds this afternoon & spotted a rather nice P bass on the wall & i just had to have a go. then i just had to buy it you know how it is. anyhow i managed to haggle £100.00 off, then they said they gave a free 3 year warranty which includes free setups too, wicked. the guitar tech' set it up as i was paying for it & even he commented on how good the neck is-lowest action i've ever seen on a Fender & no rattles good service or what. the bass plays beautifully & sounds ace (pitty about the ham fisted twat playing it ) anyway enough prattle, here's some crap photos taken in this afternoon's Yorkshire gloom. btw my sh*te pic's don't do it justice.
16. Awesome and the D300 is a nice body...I just have a D70 but my mate has just U/G from a D2x to D3 (I mean, wow)! Anyway, price is good for me, how do you want to do this? PM me and then we can sort out... Cheers
Studio setup - 1 x Bowens 500 head, rectangular soft box, Nikon D300 + Nikon 70-200vr. Shot - f/8 for 125s. Model - Varri. Hope that helps! I can do a 9 x 6 print for a tenner - which is a nice size when framed up - decent frames, including a mount can be had at Ikea for not a lot. If you wanted something bigger, or a canvas or the like - let me know and I'll sort out prices.
17. ...I have two Precisions already so I can't justify another although I am seriously tempted just by the picture.... ...it's amazing....I am a bit of a photographer (strictly amateur) and this picture is stunning mate.... Not that you need a bump since your post is at the top but you have one anyway.... Good luck with the sale and.... I would pay for the print and the bass stand, which is just as stunning. Seriously, what price is the print and also, (what settings did you use etc)?
Virtually as new, a classic, immaculate USA precision. Comes with the original, fitted Fender hard case. I'm looking for offers around the £550 mark - free print for the buyer! This is the actual bass for sale - more photographs to follow
18. Thanks Simon, really pleased with both P's and the J is wicked too. I would love the chance of a Blondie tribute as well, I mean WOW. Lucky!
Blondie Tribute Band?! That has to be my dream gig! Nice set of Ps. And I think tort would look great on the MIJ.
19. Morning Rich, Let us know what you go for in the end, love to see some pics (or more pics if you go for the Roscoe Beck). Never seen one of those before. It certainly looks a nice bass. Must get a coffee fix....lol Good luck with the purchase
Hopefully quite soon, mate! Still deciding on which way to go at the moment!
20. That's a great HW1 P mate...these basses rock! Wicked. The price is excellent. Where did you get the scratchguard? Your not selling the guard are you? Hope the sale goes well. If I could convince the other half......etc ...so have a bump from me
Selling this cos i've got a 62RI and don't really need 2 P's. It's in very good condition...'specially considering you just have to sneeze on the nitro finish to mark it. It's been fitted with Kent Armstrong Hot vintage pups and an 0.43 cap rather than the greasbucket tone control found on the 'Upgrade' model...so no Bad Ass either. Sounds like a P should. Fitted with some dodgy Fender flats. The price asked is £320 inc post. Straplocks are not included but i will replace the missing screw from the pickguard Payment by Bank transfer only The following images show the marks on the bass...or mojo if you're that way inclined. But first here's a pic of my cat after stuffing his fat face and listening to some tunes.
21. ...I agree....that's my 4th!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the kind words everyone....thinking of getting a tort scratch guard for the MIJ P? What you think? I reckon it would look awesome. Rich...when I saw the HW1 I fell in love with it. The colours are so rich and the neck is a dream....lol When are you getting your Jazz for the Blondie Tribute band? N
Come on, EVERYONE needs a Precision at some point...! GASGASGAS
22. Thought I would show off my humble collection of Leo Axes: From left to right then.... MIJ Precision (85); MIA Jazz Highway One (07); MIM Vintage Reissue (57) Behind the basses is my humble but excellent Ashdown Combo.... Ready for cutting it....thanks......Nick
