2. **** Sold now **** Thanks for looking everybody! On behalf of a good friend of mine, he has aksed me if I would place an ad on here for his Fender Precision Bass (fretless) 1977 he wishes to sell. I said yes, so here it is: According to him it's all original except the dodgy colour of the body and the brass saddles on the bridge and comes complete with a hard case. I have seen and played this bass and it all seems to work ok. The sound is typical Precision fretless with quite a surprising amount of that mwaa you should typically get with this genre. The neck is good and the condition is generally ok and I think represents the age and use quite typically. He has not restored the bass as he knows that doing so may reduce the value somewhat. He is asking for offers starting £749 Here are some pics.... Please don't hesitate to PM me if you require further details etc. Thanks all for looking
  3. Polite Bump! Just nudging this up the list to remind everybody that this bass is still unsold (amazingly) and at £550 represents truly staggering value for anybody wanting a contemporary Fender Precision Bass made in the USA... PM for the usual and any further queries
  4.
I'm buying another Streamline (with LED's) so I can't really see the point in having two identical basses around... I bought this from Vern a couple of months ago & it's a revelation - The sound is astounding & the balance/playability is superb. I think this is one of the early 2008 models, maybe the 6th made if the serial number is anything to go by. Condition is excellent with no chips or serious scratches & the bass is currently strung with 30-90 hotwires. If you're not familiar with the Streamline model, just think on the terms of "little bass, big attitude!" I'll be looking for £1000 for this amazing instrument, although interesting trade offers will be considered as well Apologies for the re-use of Vern's pics
Wow! What an amazing Bass Rich..... Have a bump from me mate.... Just like to say what a top guy Rich is to deal with too, buy in complete confidence....

I've had two off him in the last year or so & both looked brand new, like they'd come straight out of the box. Buy with confidence
Thanks Rich, You a Gent! All the best

  24. *** Latest UPDATE *** This BASS is ******** SOLD ******** Updated: 08:48 am 6th March 09 Many thanks for the interest. The bass is exceptional quality and superb to play, no buzzes and the action is medium. Red Sunburst which is superb: Made in Japan and as such renowned high quality with a very lightweight body.
