KiOgon's your man - I have one of his pre-wired stacked jazz plates...very nice and easy to fit.

I'm thinking you may be running out of steam from the amp or maybe the speakers by using too much low EQ. The Low Boost switch is adding 8db at 20hz which is way low for live bass and no bass cabs that I know of can even handle 20hz...also, where on the scale is the 40hz graphic slider...? Drop the graphic to 50% and turn off the Low Boost - adjust everything else to taste and let us know how it sounds at gigging volume.

Were you using the Low switch on the Crate...?

What cabs were you using...?

What did he plug it in to...?

Do you stack the two 410 cabs...?

Can't they be replaced with silent types...? I recently replaced my Promethean fan and it's almost silent - cost about £15.

Looks good. I have a Promethean P5110 combo and used to use a Barefaced Midget (112) as an extension cab which was fab. Finances caught up with me (car repairs) so I had to move on the Midget but I have recently replaced it with an Ashdown Mi12 and I love it - mini rigs rule
