1. Where exactly are you situated in Holland? I'm interested, but would like to try one out first...
2. I do suppose the newer Cubes have a pre-out or an FX loop? (my 80's SuperCube has one) Connect the FX send or the pre-out, whatever it is called, to a poweramp+cab or another amp's FX return+cab. Check first if the FX return on the bigger amp is Pre or post-EQ, and tweak accordingly. That way, you'll just use the cube's preamp-section. YMMV, I'm not responsible if your guitarist goofs his gear up
3. Would also be interested more in a straight sale...
4. Hi guys, I've got a Fender Jaguar bass, and I'm wondering whether an Area Jazz set by DiMarzio would be a straight drop-in? Thanks in advance! Jesse
5. It would have more meat, because the restrictions on bass in the 6.0 (they sounded thinner than 3.0 or 9.0's IME) aren't there, and the 3DPM would add heft when you drive the amp to its limits... All IME ofcourse.
6.
There is a lot of good (free) guitar lesson stuff here: http://www.justinguitar.com/
Big 2nd! Great lessons that will see you along the way, and a great bloke too!
7. Hi guys, I'm faced with a bit of a dillemma over here... I can score a mesa boogie walkabout scout 15" combo for £700 (2nd hand), and this head gets a RAVE following over on TB and actually here too (: Only gripe I know of is I don't know how reliable they are... Are these puppies versatile? Due to school reasons it's got to be able to handle jazz, rock and most difficultly Wooten-esque tone, I'm not interested at all in sterile Marcus Miller/SWR tone... OR: I could save up some more and pull the trigger on a new GB streamliner/ shuttle + Barefaced cab, now I know these amps are top notch! I like FX to shape my tone, and so could let my tube-needs be handled by something like a Dave Hall, a VT bass,... Thoughts? Jesse
8. Maybe an MTD kingston? They can be had for less than a grand, have veeery nice necks (although not for everyone), and have great upper register acces... Just remember, there's no money past the 12th fret
9. Hi guys, does anyone know where I can get a streamliner on the mainland? Thomann and musicstore don't carry it... Has anyone got experience with dealing with musikschmidt? Thanks, Jesse
