How does everyone post their effects pedals? I'm trying to find small boxes/tubs online which could be used or would it be OK to wrap in plenty of bubble wrap and use a padded envelope?

So I'm kind of in a dilemma with my live sound... We're running IEM now and I'm strongly considering ditching head & cab. Ive been looking to add a nice preamp pedal to my chain and run direct to FOH... Mesa Subway di, Trickfish Minnow, Nordstrand Starlifter etc. Ive recently also stumbled across the HX Stomp which looks like it could solve all of my problems in one simple solution. My only reservation is that I'll be disappointed with the effects and amp sims for bass. I don't use tons effects - Octave, Chrorus, Envelope and some compression. Definitely no fuzz or overdrive. Does anyone else go direct to FOH? If so, do you prefer one of the above options? Thanks

Been looking at Bacchus Woodline AC and Dragonfly Fat J basses in particular recently. They look very well made and I recently played an Xotic XJ-1T which I loved also so it's out of the three! Anyone have experience with these basses and know best place to order being based in UK? 😁 Thanks

Does anyone have experience with this bass? I tried out the XJ-1T 5 String recently which was incredible to play but out of my budget at the moment. I see the XJPRO is almost half the price 🤔

Out of interest what specs did you guys order with your custom Maruszczyk? Worth upgrading anything like Bridge/Tuning Pegs or leave as standard?

Thanks. He has the options to upgrade to security locks for £30. Might be worth me doing it.

Was it the standard strap screws you replaced? Think it's worth me upgrading these to one if the lock systems options?

I did drop Adrian an email but his English isn't great and he wasn't able to help much other than refer me to his videos which is fair enough I suppose.

Help Please So I've decided on my custom Elwood C. What do you think? 😎 Question is...How do I decide on pickups/preamp? I think I'd prefer 3 band EQ but torn between Delano, Noll, Aguilar for preamp but no idea which pups. So many options! Difficult to make a decision without hearing them side by side. Any advice? Looking to move onto IEM for my function band.. Not sure whether custom is necessary but I've read quad drivers are a minimum for bass? Any recommendations for 2019? This will be for myself and our vocalists. I understand you get what you pay for with IEMs but not sure on the budget at the moment. I think I'd prefer wireless. We use the Behringer XR18. Thanks

My wedding band are looking to upgrade our Alto Subs in the near future. We already have the RCF 732a's which are great but we're needing more low end FOH for some of the gigs, and the 732s. We run the whole band the PA via Behringer XR18 - Guitar, Bass, Drums Vocals etc. We're only looking to purchase 1 x powerful sub and have been looking at the RCF 8003-AS-II but some of the reviews mention that it sounds great but clips too easily? Has anyone had experience with the RCF Sub or another that would be a good match for us? Thanks

Interested to know people's go to settings for this beast. Using mine with a Barefaced BB2 and running everything flat with a slight bump in the lows.

That's great, thanks for the advice. I noticed the bass was sounding quite thin through the PA last weekend when I went out front. I'll look at boosting low mids on the XR18 as oppose to bass/bottom end?
