3.
That is super nice, any pics of your other Overwater? I own a Progress and an Evolution, hoping to get another Evolution soon, but think I'd prefer another 36inch scale over the 35.
Indeed it is. I'm sure I've got some somewhere - I'll have a look... Why do you find the 36" better?
Yep, that's one seriously nice looking bass. The matching pickup covers really set it off. Your patience has definitely been well rewarded!
Glad you like it - yeah the pickups were a bit of a last minute decision but add so much. It's a good job I have the patience of a saint
Awesome... love it, and I usually avoid Red like the plague! Already planning my second OW and each new one I see makes me realise why I wouldn't pay for anything else
I almost changed my mind and went for a trans black instead but the red and maple combination is stunning, so I'm glad I went with my first instinct... It is exceptionally high quality and the attention to detail is superb - I have no hesitation in recommending Overwater to anybody
 4. Thanks for all the really postive comments guys, I really appreciate it Tell you what, it makes it really tough to choose which bass to take to the gig - I went for the fretless tonight (bit of a Buble set) but will be using the Evo at rehersal tomorrow morning...
 5.
Nicest OW I've ever seen - congrats

Congrats! Lovely looking bass you have there
Thanks guys - she's very special. I had quite a wait, but it was well worth it. My photography skills do not do her justice - in the flesh (wood) she really is stunning
 6.
Cor!!!
Indeed - she plays beautifully and sounds awesome too, already done a couple of gigs and had superb feedback from the guys in both bands...

 10. I've got a couple of eno - ET-3000's (approx £15 a piece if memory serves) and have had no issues - very handy for 'silent' tuning whilst the MD addresses the audience. The low B sometimes needs a moment to settle but other than that they're great

 14. Live and Let Die - Guns and Roses - great track and reminds me of the witchdoctor scene in the Bond film
 15.
Where are you doing this show mate, i played it a couple of years ago. used my warwick. but if i did it again id use my musicman, is it the osaltwhistle production? in which case ill say hello ( a mate of mines wife,s in it) could be way off the mark, but just to say a jazz is a great choice- all the best - lee
Hi Lee Sorry mate you missed it, the show was a couple of weeks ago in Southport - it all in all went really well the cast worked so hard the energy on stage was superb, it really could have been a pro show, the cast were that good. My new 75RI jazz (strung with TI flats) and the Compact sounded great, had some good comments from the cast and some of the guys in my big band who came to see the show made a point of saying how good the bass sounded which was nice... Cheers John
 16. Looking good - I've been tempted to go on the course myself for a couple of years now but haven't got round to it yet, maybe next year... Keep up the good work - there must be a great sense of achievement in doing this
 17. been busy so not checked in for a while, it's looking good... do you get a free pizza with every track recorded
 18. you're stood in the bar after the show and the only people who talk to you are members of your family and the barman as you order another pint...
 19. Excellent news mate - knew you wouldn't be out of work for long... Looking forward to coming up to Carlisle very soon - I'll give you a call when I know the details
 20.
It overran by about 3 months and £40k!
Ouch - I'm guessing it's a case of I've started so I'll finish - I'm sure it will be well worth it in the end
 21. I like the shot of the floor makes it look huge Thanks again for the thread and the constant steam of photo updates - what's the project timescale for getting it totally finished?
 22.
ah, looking brilliant. this is seriously one of the best build threads ever.
+1
 23. These are the Jamerson set - bought these last week for £25, but after less than 24 hours on my bass these just aren't for me. Yours for £15 posted...
