Thanks guys...Definitely a series 3 then?...... tried a new passion at Bass Direct a couple of years ago and it[mostly] sounded like every other modern bass, nothing like the series 1[or maybe a series 2] I owned many years back - shades of Alembic & Kubicki basses if my memory serves!.....Now that's the sound I want..

My stunning 1997 Standard Strat...superb condition throughout..Not getting used much as I still tend to favour my '83 SQ [certainly not as good,but feels 'like home'if ya know what I mean]..As you can see, the bridge pup has been uprated with a Seymour Duncan JB junior mini bucker with coil tap - really sounds like the dogs thingies!....Well worth a look -any trial welcome.........p/x poss for 5/6 string bass frets or no frets....................will load more pics Saturday..................p.s. trem arm included.

<p>.......One of Peaveys' best ever basses IMHO...Active/3 band EQ with great range of tones..100% functioning..not surprisingly has a few minor dings and buckle rash at rear.Neck is quite small and would probably suit 'little fingers'....neck also has light damage to the finish [ see pic ],easy fix I guess - never bothered me.....Original fitted Peavey case included.....£185 posted.....PX possible for 5/6er plus cash.</p>

Now rewired back to 4 ohms..Drivers are Eminence Gamma 10a [x2] and are in perfect working order ,as is the horn..

Upgraded with Eminence 300 drivers..Currently 16 ohms..All working..Any trial..Collect from Wakefield -local delivery possible...£90.....SOLD...
