1. Great video, thanks for sharing! The best basses are always hard to find, in the weirdest places!
2. Hi everyone, Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place - please feel free to move it mods. I'm launching a new startup targeted at musicians, and in order to make sure I am building something that people want, I need to talk to as many people as possible. It will just be a quick 5-10 minute phone call, more of an open ended discussion. If you're interested please drop me a PM. Consider it your good deed for the day In return I can offer help in any way I can, will be eternally grateful and can offer you some perks when we eventually launch. Thank you!!
3. Open to offers, also they can be collected from Gillingham, Kent.
4. Boss 0C-3 or sale as I'm getting a POG2 so won't need this any more. Q-tron needs to go to fund the POG as well! Both great pedals, I actually prefer the sound of the -1 octave on this than the POG, but I can't warrant having two octave pedals! And the Q-tron gets you the ultimate funky sound. Got the OC3 off DogHammer on here a few months ago. Immaculate condition. No PSU. £55 posted Bought the Q-tron here from Stan_da_man. Few scratches as it's quite old but very good condition for its age and working perfectly. Original PSU. Also £55 posted. You can check my feedback here: http://basschat.co.u...-for-robmayzes/
5. This came of my old mexican P-Bass. Not sure if it was originally aged white, or if its natural ageing. Just has a bit of a cream tint to it. £10 posted or trade for a black or tortoise jazz pickguard.
6. I use mine in both ways. Sometimes depending on the bass (I tend to have it on low drive settings to beef up passive basses) or the song (some songs require distorted sections so I will turn up the drive and only engage the pedal on those sections). Most of the time when I'm using it with my active jazz, I leave it on high gain settings to use as a distortion pedal. It really works either way - you'll only be limited by having only one of them, I have considered getting another so that i can leave one on permanently for tone and another for distortion and boost!
7. Also just got 74's in my jazz. This time he charged slightly extra for them than the standard models (£85) When I got them the solders were loose, which I didn't see as a massive issue, but Andy refunded me a reasonable amount of money for the problem! The sound is exactly what I wanted. Excellent guy to deal with, was very helpful throughout and I now consider myself a Wizard advocate and would recommend them to anyone
8. Traded my pickups for an OC-3 pedal off of DogHammer. Great comms, very well packaged and pedal is immaculate! Great guy to deal with.
9. Slightly used pack have gone. Brand new unopened pack now reduced to £25.
10. Oops, completely forgot to put that! Their medium: 45-65-85-105
11. Bought these for £27 a pack + p&p, and although they are great strings, I have decided to go back to nickels. The coating feels odd at first but you soon get used to it! Great sounding strings, and the one pack that have been used sound exactly like they did new after some light usage so I'm sure the coating works and they'll last a very long time. Ideal if you don't have the time or money to change strings every few weeks! One pack is brand new so looking for [s]£27[/s] £25 posted. USED PACK NOW SOLD Thanks!
12. These came with the bass when I bought it second hand (MIJ Fender 75RI), and the stock pickups weren't included in the sale. These pickups are amazing - incredibly hot, fat and powerful. However they don't give me the sound I'm looking for. These are perfect for rock/metal/blues but I need something for jazz/funk. So I'd be willing to sell if i can secure a set of new pups, or looking to trade for any jazz pups plus money where necessary - ideally Fralin, Wizards, Lollers etc. Also interested to try the Aguilars. Whatever you have, try me . Might also be willing to trade just the bridge depending on how hot the proposed pickup is (would have to be pretty hot to keep up with a QP in the neck position!) They work perfectly but are in used condition. Not sure how old they are. The logo has rubbed off as seen in the photo and they need a bit of a clean which I will do once I've removed them to trade or sell. They might also need new screws as previous owner stripped them slightly. £55 includes postage to UK .

14. +1 for ebony fretboards (love the ebony on my vintage modified fretless) and also +1 to yamaha bb414! I just got a bb415 and I'm in love with it. Has seen more action recently than my main bass which is a jap fender. Amazing value for money.
15. I have a very similar bass (maple fretboard) and love it! Can't recommend these Japanese builds enough. Compared it to an American 75ri and personally preferred the Japanese. Really good price too!
16. Received in great condition and well packaged, more than happy with the bass! Hassle free transaction, great guy to deal with.
17. Make sure you drag all related files (ie the whole folder) rather than just the project file though. Another way is to just 'save as' on to your hard drive and it should copy over all the audio files - I'm assuming that garage band works in the same way as Logic.
