1. Looking at it like that makes me look at breakers yards like goldmines now! I'm sure there are examples of cars selling for more than the sum of their parts: I'm a VW enthusiast and often see 50 year old cars selling for tens of thousands. That's an aircooled boxer engine, 4 speed tranny and power-nothings. My active Jazz is more sophisticated!
 2. I was speaking to a bloke on the Warwick forums about a 2005 Thumb BO 4 string for £750, haven't seen a 5er in a while now.
 3.
If you dont get on with it i will buy it off you I really wanted it.
Sorry dude, really missed my old one that Josh took; will defo let you know if I sell it. The dots on the neck are stickers, and are coming straight off! I'm excited cuz it's my first Handbuilt Warwick, excited to see what difference the brass nut and other subtleties are to a more modern one.
 4. Sold, for those interested (not to me though!)
 5. Apologies to anyone I may have just sniped for the Warwick on ebay :brow:
 6. Does such a thing as an all-lefty band exist out there somewhere? If not, there bloomin' should be! Had to google it.. and there are many. Would be good to find a good one though!
 7. It's no worries at all, I didn't mean to seem grumpy, just a bit down ATM as my Grandad's not very well. To be fair I did just pick a date out of the air, should really have got some feedback first. It's just April is pre-opeinging for the studio but hopefully post-carpet. The date doesn't matter so much, it just means I'd have to charge the princely sum of £45 for the room for any later! Unfortunately I don't really have the time to follow this up properly, if anyone wants to get preferred dates from fellow lefties and propose a more suitable date I'm totally fine with that Oh - totally fine with a venue change if needs be as well, but we are kinda spread out all over the place!
 8. I'm still up for it.. Although if the numbers are weak we should probably just tag on to the next general BassBash. I think less than 5 confirmed attendees and it's not worwhile.
 9.
gone
I just noticed that; gutted!!
 10.
oh yes andy, there's a thread on here somewhere keeping a VERY close eye on that!
Me too! Group purchase potential?! Probably the only way I'll afford it!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WAL-5-string-bass-gu...l_Instruments_G
Good spot Steve, that looks a monster.
 12.
How bout trading it for my Alembic? They r about the same value and it s nice for a change before eventually selling it agzin
Hey Sebastian, good thinking but I'm afraid the Epic isn't to my taste. To be tempted into a trade I'd ideally like a Ltd. Edition Warwick, a Wal or a pre EB MusicMan. (Like the lovely Sabre we asked about!)
 13.
No mate, if anything, I may have to sell some gear to make ends meet.
Sorry to hear that mate, I hope it doesn't come to that.
 14.
dont do it biggsy! the recession hits the lefties the hardest Can't actually justify that statement, but I know its true
I'm with you - it's making an already small market even smaller. I've not even got to play it in anger yet, but I know long term it's too expensive for me to be a keeper with weddings and whatnot on the horizon. So, best put it up sooner rather than later with the economy how it is.
 15.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
Bad timing I take it?! Sorry mate, have you bought something legendary in the meantime?
 16. Quick update for me as well - My Ric 4003 is available to buy without a setup as of now. If anyone's interested PM me before I change my mind!!

 19.
This is my Small Clone (EH 4600 Full Chorus), bought from Aphook (i think...) just before i bagged a Stereo Electric Mistress. Lovely chorus pedal for bass, real easy to use too with just one depth switch and a rate knob. Pretty much every sound is at least usable with some really lush chorus sounds. If i hadn't spied the SEM i'd be keeping it! I preferred this to most others in this price barcket as it sounds more natural and is built like a tank It has a few battle scars on the front but functions like a new pedal, just gave it a brief check and everything works. The back is covered in velcro but this will come off. The original rubber feet and battery cover are still with it. Also this comes with a lead to use it (and other pedals with "mini jack" DC sockets) with a regular power supply or power bank, so no worries about powering it. Comes in the original box too! I would like what i gave for it which was £30 delivered.
Yoink! PM about to be sent
 20.
thanks for the interest guys, have answered tayste's message but biggsy and wotnwhy are next in line. biggsy, i am from peterborough mate, but originally from ramsey, can you believe as a youngster used to date a girl from colnefields, and used to bloody walk there every sunday for a year..no wonder my knees are bolloxed..
Ramsay.. to Colne? Good god, she must have been something special!
 21.
I'm just trying to find the cash across my band or rape my overdraft. Once I've spoken to Ogri of course. I'll let you know if I can't go ahead
Ta
 22.
as a matter of fact sod it i'll chuck a smoke machine in with it...there you go, be the floyd for 200 quid..
I seem to remember you're in Peterboro, is that right? If so, (and if Tayste isn't interested) I'd like to buy!
 23.
Almost got there with the SEI. Almost..... Outbid with 7 seconds to go. Then it jumped £400.
Arg, unlucky dude. Still, finished a long way down from the £2k the seller wanted, I wonder if it's actually sold? The wording of the ad left me wondering if it was an auction at all..
