1.
Bump, new price, £300
Jeez, great price! Talk about 'bang for your buck'...
  2. Kev, Can you reply to my PM's mate? Have you got my cheque?
  3. Cool. Would love to live a bit further up that way, the scene seems a lot more active than around here.

    EHX Dr. Q

I also found it to be too subtle. The Qtron & Qtron+'s are brill IMO; you can turn the effect right down to a similar level to the Dr. Q, but still have the flexibility to turn the funk right up if you fancy.
  6.
Na, for another project, where I am playing guitar instead!
Ah, sounds cool. I'd have a go myself, but it's just the wrong side of Peterboro for me to be of any use. What about Tom at Jigsaw Studios? He's in the Deeping area, and pretty handy?
  7.
An absolute steal from the man in Cannock I seem to recall...
Yep, that's the kiddie. Knew it woulda been a good investment, although I'm sure it would have been a serious last minute bidding war if I'd have managed to put the beans together! Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you're after a Mark King type tone, this is THE bass.
  8. I couldn't say, but you're probably right; There can't be many of these around?
  9. Man, I saw an identical model to this pass through ebay before Christmas, look gorgeous, and from the soundclips I heard well worth the asking price for a very distinct tone. Didn't have the money to speculate on it then, still don't now Defo worth a test drive for fellow left-handers, and (slightly OT) seeing as we tend to have longer sale periods it'd be grreat to see a lefty's classifieds area, as without constant bumpage these posts can get lost!
  10. I think I'll take that off you fella - is it okay to come pick up this coming weekend? Cheers, Adrian
  11. Oo, that's not far up the road.. It can't be for Stringfinger though?

  14.
I have a Korg DTR-2 rackmount tuner in good conditionf or sale. I have replaced plug with an IEC male adapter so that it can be connected to a rackmounted power distribution panel (or just plug in using the supplied kettle lead) I am replacing this as part of my never-ending quest for a rig I can load in a single journey. I'm practically there - just need to sell my rack case or swap for rack bags. I would sell for £70 inc shipping or swap for a Boss TU-2 plus £20.
I have the boss tuner, and I'd like to take you up on the part-ex offer! It's the white pedal, right? I have one in great condition including the box that I've been dying to swap for a Korg. Where are you based?

  16.
£30 Posted for the bass balls
Is it Russian or NYC? Good nic? -and not the 'Nano'?
  17.
Any OFFERS?
How about 25 quid shipped for the Bassballs?

  19. Hi Mike, Just noticed the new post here! I don't mean to be cheeky, but would you accept 90 quid, shipped? Cheers, Adrian
  20. Hello dude, I hope you manage to shift these soon - I sympathise with your situation! However, if they aren't gone in 6 1/2 weeks time I'll be getting in touch to talk about a deal on the whole rig. I'm only up the road in St. Ives, where are you, and are you involved with any local bands? Biggsy
  21. I'll have that mate! (PM on the way!)
  22.
So one of my favourite bands around, the very brilliant Big Wednesday are looking for a new bass player. This is a really good opportunity for whoever picks up on it- they are an amazing live act and they write great tunes. I'm almost tempted to give it a shot myself just because I love their music, but I've tried being a hard-working bassist on the circuit and I didn't enjoy it that much so I don't think I have the will for it now. Anyways, if you're interested amble over to their myspace and that should give you enough info to get in touch. Should be a really good gig if you want it.
Tell you what - they're brilliant! If they were an hour further north I'd be all over them, serious potential there!!

    Feedback for sk8

Bought a Morley Wah; Shipped quickly and no fuss! A wise transaction
  24.
Cheers Sparky - hope you're getting on with the 210. Biggsy - you have a PM.
Thanks guys, I am mighty tempted. Infact I'd be there now if you were 100 miles closer! I'll keep in touch Dave - I might find myself in the West over the next couple of months for work. If not, I'm still gassing for a pair of top end cabs - Epi/Accugroove/Eden etc. Get in touch before I blow 350 beans on a Japanese Jazz!
