  1. No worries. They pop up now and again although seems to be more sought after now. The best finishes are honey burst (what I have) and tobacco burst I think. They only came in 4 colours for that model (LPB3). The cherry burst doesn't don't for me.
  2. Good stuff! I was part of an Alanis Tribute band up until 2021. Coincidence that I play a Les Paul Bass. Fun Songs to play.
  3. Bad news.... They sound amazing and I used one for years in the same finish. Really underrated and very powerful. I had a good strap so no real neck dive and whilst the early models are heavy this model LPB3 are chambered making them a better option. This model also has a warwick style bridge and was played by players like Stuart Zender & John Taylor. Think they stopped making them around 2012 and whilst you don't see many they do pop up now and again. Alanis's Bassist is from a band in the USA called Remy Zero who did the theme song to Smallville. great band.
  4. I have added the weight to the info now but it is 4.5kg.
  5. Good question. Will weigh it this evening and let you know
  6. Thanks. Its a beauty and has one of the best necks on a bass I have played but I never use it so time to move it on.
  7. USA Jazz Bass £1550
  8. Very nice! I have the LP Standard bass. Always wondered what the weight was like on these?

  10. These are awesome basses! A very rare gem from Gibson as I recall they only made a total of 400 of these in 2013 in 3 colours (Black, Red, Sunburst) before they do what they always do and discontinue good stuff. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a couple which have become my go to bass as they are easily one of the best basses I have ever played and I love the power and versatility.... plus they look cool and are standard scale unlike the EBs of the 60's. Someone will be very happy with this! GLWS
  11. Just had a quick look round at how prices vary for these. Some dealers price them around the £5.5k mark whereas some other well known dealers want £7k. I'd like to think they are this price so they have lots of room to discount even at around the £5.5k mark I'd be interested to see how much they go for at Bass Direct or Thomann if they stock it.
  12. Yeah, I spoke to him and he sounds like a great guy. I'll give it a little time on Reverb and then think I will reach out to him again in the new year. thanks!
  13. Wish I had known before I let them have it! As I say, lesson learnt!
  14. Yeah, I was not impressed. made no effort at all to sell it, Didn't even advertise it on their website until I flagged it with them. Anyway, big lesson learnt!
  15. Good shout! Bass Bros I have spoken to and seem good. I had tried a certain Bass specialist in London but they made no effort to sell it and when I collected it after 6 weeks it had a scratch on it.
  16. Thank you. Yeah, I cant understand why this hasn't sold. Its in such good condition and new they are about a grand more! Maybe its because the ads been on here for a while? I have had a few time wasters and just listed it on Reverb so fingers crossed!
  17. 🙂 Ha, Thank you! I have a few people interested and sending messages so hopefully it will be sold soon. Its a great bass, just not for me but someone will get a bargain.
  18. Good luck with the sale of your amp!
  19. Yeah they are amazing quality and all 3 colours are killer! Mine doesn't seem to be getting the love it deserves for some reason.
  20. Nice! I've not tried the 5 string but im sure its to the same quality and a fine bass. What colour?
  21. Totally agree, I have sold and bought on there but so many scammers and time wasters to weed through but the right person is there and will get a bargain! Also on Ebay and Reverb but thats a last resort 🙂
  22. Gotta go with what you need! What 5 string did you get?
  23. Well don't be the one to lose out on a bargain and end up kicking yourself! 😂 I am surprised it hasn't got more love on BC, most of the interest is coming from groups on Facebook but I guess thats how it is now.
