Just recived a Peavey 260C bass Combo Mk II from daz and all i can say is wow and thank you. Delivered to my door and such a good price.

Just received a Warrick bridge in brand new condition from mark, what an amazing man to give such an item away, thank you.

Right guys, pretty soon im gonna have some money max £150 to spend on a bass (thanks to a sale on here) and was after a jazz as a backup or possably a first choice (my current bass is a cheap jap thing). Yay i have my first bass lesson on saturday with Chloe Treacher of Unkle Bob fame, who is also a basschat member. It will be Via Skype. Just thought i would share as im excited to actually learn something and get out of my funk lol

what do you mean it goes between the input and output jacks? i mean do i put it between the input jack and the first capacitor? also is this bypassable so that when not turned on i will still get the clean tone through it?

I managed to find someone selling the 2N5088's on ebay 5 for £3.30 bit dear but hey ho. Thanks for the advice on the LED switch Everything including the box itself came in at just under £20 so we shall see if it was worth it lol. Also just a quick question. Do i wire my stompswitch directly after the input socket? also my 9v neg lead should go to the input or output jack socket right? Thanks guys

I have decided against that one now and im doing the Bazz Fuss V1. I have changed the out capacitor to 1uf from a 0.1uf but im having trouble finding a 2N5088 NPN transistor. can i use any other NPN transistor? like a BC107? or even a 2N5109?

45-105 never tried any else.

Thinking about making this: Its my first attempt at making a effect. so i have a few questions. 1) How can i make this work on bass? or will it already? 2) Where would i put an LED if i wanted one so i knew it was switched on? Any other tips would be amazing? Is this a good overdrive for a first attempt?
