so i know i will be flamed for this probably, but if you where playing in a industrial rock band and had a choice between a jazz and a p what would you choose?
I like them both, but im leaning to the Jazz
Interested in a swap? I have a customised Ibby musician that needs a bit of work.

Its a bit hard to describe, its kinda rock with coarse music that can include samples and loops of noises associated with industry. It also contains allot of electronics.

Ministry and NIN are Industrial Rock too
Hi guys, i was wondering if you could give me some information on what its is like to be a bass player in an Industrial Rock band, such as tunings, pedels, stuff played ect.
I have been asked to join a band and i am just wondering.
Does anyone know where i can get a replacement Ernie Ball Regular Slinky string gauge 105? I did the noob thing of cutting it too short
I dont really want to have to buy a new set.
Thanks for all the info guys.
I got a 30W iron off ebay for £5 inc P&P and some 40/60 solder and treated myself to a 18inch X 12inch sticky back copper foil to shield while i am there, that was £3.75.
I guess i should start making some pedels now lol
Hey guys, i have a few loose wires in the back of my bass and i was about to purchase a soldering iron but i have read somewhare that since the lead has been made lead free you need a hotter iron, so what wattage of iron would you recommend?

I'm afraid I need the cash much more than I need another bass, but thank you for the offer[/quote]
no worries man, wish i had the funds.
Hey guys i have a 1979-ish ibby musician which has been modded into a p/j setup, it has EMG active pups and black closed tuners. It has also been painted in a custom colour. It in need of a little work on the pup area (a scratchplate was used to fill the old routes ect.) and a replacement tuner as one is bent but still works and there are a few scratches. But for a low cost you guys could have an interesting project, looking for cash or trade for a p-bass style bass.
how about a swap for a 1979-ish ibby musician which has been modded into a p/j setup in need of a little work on the pup area and a replacement tuner as one is bent but still works?
