The actual ebay ad says "Squier", so the seller is not trying to deceive anyone. I suppose this conversation is about the future buyer and his possible intentions to re-sell it as something else.
Apart from that, the ad also states "This is a top relic project not a dodgy electric sander hatchet job". It should have been the other way round, but this is totally subjective.

MB1.
Isn't all relicing pointless?

Thought the same and then I played with the MIM 50s, normal and road worn. The relic'd neck had a better feel.
I think some parts of the relicing process could be useful, but not the scars/scratches/dings part.
Someone in BC once wrote that he owns a 71 P-bass relic'd in the right way. He's been using it for 40 years. Still, it doesn't look a bit like that *thing* being sold on eBay.
Plus I totally agree with neepheid. There are a lot of sexy basses out there.
I've seen people commanding almost astronomical prices on these basses, but I think £ 525 / € 600 is a good starting point for negotiations.
I know what you mean. Back in May, when I wanted to sell/trade my 1-year old American Deluxe P-bass, a guy offered me this bass as a trade with some extra cash his way. Your price is an excellent one, for the bass you're selling.
Edit: I've seen the pics. This is a steal!
I just got a Lollar 51 pickup from Clarky. The guy is a sweet talker, very friendly and honest.
Plus, he sold it very cheap, considering it was a new in box thingy.
Hope we deal again in the future.
Best
John
I'm changing my gear so all these pedals have to change house.
They are in excellent working and cosmetic condition.
The Behringer has velcro underneath, but nothing more.
Prices include shipping from Greece and are a bit negotiable, especially if you buy more than one.
1) Behringer Slow Motion SM200 - £20
Pics are stock, almost identical to real ones.

Fran is a god, the god of patience and helpfulness and basses.
I bought a heavily modified P-bass in a feisty Fiesta red color and it was more than I could hope for.
Communication was excellent, the packaging was a real hell (for me to unwrap it) and strong as a tank.
Thank you very much for everything.
John
Great, great, great basses with excellent mods. Also, long live maple!
Btw, can you send outside of the UK, but inside the EU?
I have some stuff for sale locally, so if you don't sell them by September, maybe I can start dreaming.
Oh and bump!
After so much good feedback, here's some more!
Mike traded a bass-in-parts for a pedal.
He sent the parts inside a fortress and I had to use trebuchets to bring the walls down. Oh and a screwdriver!
Bass is in one piece now and good as expected.
He's a great guy and with excellent comms.
I'm sure I'd like to deal again with him in the future.
Cheers
John
