1.
That was my bad boy. Its a lovely bass.
It was and is indeed Jerry mate, it's a sad decision to have to make...am not happy about it but I've got to do it...I used it at a band practice last night and it was lovely, sounded brilliant! real fat with the bass up and tone rolled off and spanking highs with the tone up!

  2. I have recently got a 2 band black & maple on a trade, it's in real nice condition, plays really well, action is lovely and low, cleaned and restrung, crazy credit card bill forces sale! I'll no doubt get another one some day but I need to get some cash in...

    £650 posted?

PM me with any sensible offers...

  3. Hi there,

A little help/advice from the experts would be appreciated...

I'm hoping to build a mini speaker box to go under my PJB bassbuddy, this will be my first cab build!

My intention is that it will have an internal void of 300x300x300mm with 4 25mm dia vents in the front, this matches the Eminence data sheet vent requirement for my chosen speaker (Eminence Basslite CH2010 10") but exceeds the data sheet for internal volume (would be 300x300x200mm) as I liked the idea of a bass-cube...

What are the implications of me making the box deeper?
Will it sound more 'middy' but have less low end if I make it shallower to match the data sheet?
Will it sound too woofy if I make it a cube?

    Or will it be fine?

Should I fill the void with something, just attach some insulation to the sides/top/bottom or leave it empty?

    Thanks guys.

  4. Just did a postal guitar trade with Jerry, posted on the same day...

We both took a bit of a flier as we both had the same feedback and that only for buying not selling...

Lots of good pm conversation beforehand along with a couple of telephone chats, addresses exchanged and all went as agreed. No problem!

Bass arrived safe and sound exactly as described, simply superb!

This man can he trusted no problem!

    Andy

  5. Bought an EBS DynaVerb from him last week...

Discussed, paid, posted, arrived all very swiftly! Did me a great price too!!

    Thanks matey!

  6. After many years Dave has left Electro to go his own way (hence the bass downturn I suspect), he has some nice stock in from the states (at his home at the mo), you can email him for a list... he was always the spirit of electro for me (along with Pod who now seems to be running the show a bit)...I dealt with him many times, he sold me my first proper bass amp and I've bought and traded basses with him for years.

PM me for his email add if you want it - be sure to tell him you got it from me

An Android app would be amazing! Another forum which is obviously inferior due to being from across the pond has a nice app for android phones...

There are 2 separate listings for 2 of these basses which are virtually identical, on Ebay at the moment. One has a BIN of £80,the other BIN is £395.I've got a Squier P5 but it looks nothing like these.Which of the 2 prices is nearest the mark,do you think?I believe they're known as Pro-Tone models.Heres the link for the other one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fender-Squire-Pro-To...d#ht_5440wt_932
never seen either of them before, they do look almost identical, difficult to say cos the cheaper one's photo is fuzzy and distant, the seller of the cheaper one also has a tarnished record whereas the seller for the more expensive one has a good record and also his other stuff sesems to have sold for about the right price.

The cheaper one's seller has a 'fake' slur in his feedback so it may not be what he says it is, you could at least ask him for some better photos showing the details of it to compare with the more expensive one?

  11.
ebs OctaBass pedal- triple mode octave divider one of the best iv played, sounds really fat with a fuzz pedal too real synthy tones, great pedal i just have no use for it anymore as im clearing out pretty much all of my gear due to not playing much anymore, £55 posted
the non-true-bypass model yes?

  12. I love my 6Pack, it's got plenty of volume for a pub or small hall, anything bigger and it goes through the pa anyway...
I still fancy a 12b to go with it just to see what it can do!
