Mr Olympic (while being way better at archery than me) doesn't seem to have the most amazing aim? Then again, was he aiming for the holes in the grill...in which case...AMAZING!!

IIRC he's somewhere near Leicester - it's hardly far.

Leicester is indeed near-ish but I don't have a spare couple of hours either way plus talking time (especially at weekends) so I wondered whether there was someone very near to me who could grant me an initial meeting with a Letts bass to see whether it's worth me making the trip...

  3. For sale, my Rode NT1-A condensor mic, used once to record a guitar and then again to record vocals while I've had it. I got it new, it's still in mint condition. The only slight issue is that I've had to stick the tiny gold dot back on cos it fell off!

Complete with original box, soft case, cradle packaging etc...

Pop shield, used once, it mounts on the mic stand...I'll include an xlr-xlr too...

To add to the shameless self-promotion, the album is now out and the website is live at http://www.linearsphere.com ;)

Just ordered it from your webshop matey :gas:

  5. I have a 2012 55-02 std with mm/s and the Lakland pre. I had a 2011 55-01 before that with j/j barts.

Both really nicely made and great sounding. 55-02 a little stronger in the mids and a little less clunky sounding, sweeter top end too, a bit more versatile sounding with the switched choice of coils on the mm too...

  6. I have some and have never considered buying others, I'll try to listen to some of the ones I haven't got...out of interest.

He always seems to come across well in interview, I want to like him despite never having met him

Used to have a Thumb NT 5 years back and it was really really nice but a bit clinical for me at the time, might be tempted by one of these Katana though!

The Gallery have a used one in at around £1k it's blue though and I liked the natural one :(

I humbly share my S1 Jazz
Since sending you the S1 BottomE and despite loving my NXT4 I have come to realise that I can't live without a fretless electric bass as there are just some songs that won't work on upright, so...I will be properly joining in with this thread as soon as Bass Doc gets back from holiday and fits the new fretless neck on my Geddy Jazz!
