1. Hi all, reluctantly selling my favourite 4 string due to moving on to a 5 I bought on here and sadly cannot justify keeping both. Easily the best neck I've played on yet, with a fantastic translucent green/teal finish with a lovely ash wood grain coming through. Known as the Stingray's comfortable cousin, with a more compact body and a great versatile active EQ. Looking for £950 as I've seen several go on this site at that price although I'm willing to be flexible. Shipping to the UK and the mainland is fine although I'm based in Belfast if you'd like to try it out. No trades sorry. Comes with original fitted hardcase and brand new Regular Slinkys! Specs: Ash Body - Maple neck - Rosewood fretboard - ~9 lbs - 22 Frets - Single Humbucker - 3 Band active EQ - Bolt on neck - 9V Battery Apologies for Instagram links! http://instagram.com/p/Ue5qtWCVZx/ http://instagram.com/p/UjG55eCVQK/ http://instagram.com/p/UjGp6piVQC/ http://instagram.com/p/UjHgk3iVQo/ http://instagram.com/p/UjHsc2CVQt/ http://instagram.com/p/UjHPZwCVQa/ If you require any more pictures or have any queries don't hesitate to ask! Thanks
2. Mm, I'd wear it higher if I'm using a wider neck (5 string) to ease my left hand or if I was solely slapping!
3. Bought a JBass from Pat, arrived promptly from across Europe and was very helpful in answering any queries that I had. I'd buy again if I could!
4. I find this virtually unlistenable until about 3:30 when Queen Latifa comes in because of some prick playing bells out of time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWxMfR7n1mw
5. Recently I've developed a liking for some great musical hip-hop (not rap over a droning sub). I've found some examples of electric or synth bass done well in front of a crowd which seem quite difficult to find. Great song, a bit poppy but fantastic fat bass http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5bbPOL1QnI In the same concert he uses a Lakland I think at 2:20 if you look for 'Rock Your Body'. Jay-Z, John Mayer and Tony Royster Jr... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9v4KlT2UDi8 Enjoy! Tell me what you think or add to this list if you like.
6. Sounds like a great bass, but my budget only stretches to about £1000, apologies! Trading/selling my MM Sterling to fund!
7. Aw, got to this too late. If there's any problems/stalls with the sale you can PM me!

13. Good drummers are a special breed. If they can read music, they are worth their weight in gold. Here here!
14. I can't see the picture, and not to be shallow but what colour is it in? Haha.
15. It was grand She was astounded when she heard that I could read! Those Rockschool grades irritate me, but the Chromatic Fantasy was fine, so s'all good
16. I've got my Lower Sixth practical tomorrow for my A Level grade, and bricking it! I'm playing Chromatic Fantasy, a Bach violin Sonata, and a piece from the Rockschool grade 8 syllabus (boke). I don't know, I just weird kinda inadequate doing auditions etc alongside pianists etc, anyone else feel the same? *runs away to practice*
17. Apart from Blood Sugar Sex Magik (it seems like a staple on here!), only really for shows/drama productions etc like Little Shop, or Hairspray, but I got my hands on some sheet music for both. Does anyone know where I can get all of Little Shop? Doing it next year
18. I'm tempted to experiment with the unused church Squier...
19. Yeah, I thought that there'd deffo be a complication somewhere haha. I'm pushing it as is, putting 120's on where my MM used to suit 100's, oh well
20. I had an argument with a guy yesterday, who said that there'd be no problem with getting rid of the G, and stringing a 4-string BEAD. I thought that this would completely wreck the neck with the tension, maybe if you had a graphite neck? Is it possible?
