I'm very up on the old stingray guys - already got a couple. I never really looked carefully at the pix, except I realised it was a pre ernie ball, so I put a £400 bid never expecting to win anyway., It wasn't due to finish for a couple of days, so you can imagine my surprise when I just found it ended early in my favour. accompanied with about half a dozen emails from you guys warning me not to buy. I just won this thing on ebay for £381.99 and now i think it's a fake - its a pre Ernie Ball logo - but the brigde is post ernie ball - the pup is definately wrong!! I've just contacted the seller to confirm the bass is genuine - and i want some better pix before I part with any cash!! I also asked for the serial number...lets see what happens!!.?? Shonks

check this......I bought a Tribal Planet gig bag for an acoustic bass guitar for £10, from ebay. I use just the back of an old gig bag I cut out, and place it between the two basses. Been doing this for over a year now. Basses are great, bag is still in good shape, and my wallet is still full of money!! on the other hand - when I started to play bass ( many years ago ) there was no such thing as a gig bag. So even carrying two about in seperate bags aint that awkward, is it! all the best S
