3. The Fender HMV (High Mass Vintage) and the American Deluxe both mount with three screws and the hole allighnment appears to be the same.
4. You should be ok with an American Deluxe Bass Bridge, as it is a combined bridge that allows you to strings through the body as well as the bridge. I think it can also be used as a replacement for the Tele bridge. American Deluxe Bridge

6. Up for grabs is an un-used chrome Badass II still packaged (however there is a small tear to the shrink wrapping on the bottom left had corner). Bought it for a Jazz I was going to build but never seemed to get the time to do it. I even ordered a painted alder body from Warmoth which has sat on top of the wardrobe for the last 18 months. Anyway how does £40.00 sound?

8.
Thanks. Yes mate, they are. Bit steep though aren't they?
I don't think so they are about $100 to buy in America. plus postage.
9. Are these the Tuning Keys you require? Hipshot HB5 Rickenbacker Replacements
10. If your looking for something a bit different than the standard plastic thumbrest check these out. A variety of Thumbrests
11. Hi the screw-threaded bushings on the Schaller M4's are 12mm, if you require something larger you may have to look towards Gotoh which are 14mm on this style of tuner. Have you had a look at Bass Guitar Parts Direct they may have something suitable.
12. Have you tried this company? Bass Guitar Parts Direct
13.
Hmm let us know how their service is, i'm thinking of buying a badass III from them at some point, they seem fairly cheap, though i'm not entirely sure what the going rate for them is
Usually find them going for around £70.00 for chrome.
14.
I like that, but I think I'd rather have an SBV 800MF...
I'm with you on the SBV800 MF, I had been wanting one for ages but they were a bit of a rarity in the UK, however a while ago I managed to buy an absolute minter from a fellow Baschatter. The MF was built as the signiture model for bassist Miki Furukawa who played with the Japaneese Band Supercar.
15. The back edge of the Badass III bridge is appox 2mm higher than the Badass II but both are shorter than the Fender Bridges, the reason they don't appear to fit even though length wise they are similar is that the Fender Bridges have rounded corners allowing them to fit within the shape of the Bridge cover. The Badass bridge has a square edge which fits up againt the cover pushing it away from the body. I learnt this when I tried one on a Fender Geddy Lee. I'm pretty sure the the Gotoh 201B-4 and the 203B-4 will both fit under due to them having the rounded edges. Hope this helps.
16.
A bit rich calling themselves 'bassguitarpartsdirect'... they have nothing that fits a Warwick. 'fendertypethingsareus' more like
Do Schaller M4's fit a Warwick? as it looks like they have listed some Schaller machineheads.
17. It's good to see a that there is finally someone in the UK just specialising in Bass parts, it would be nice to see them do well. It will also make a nice change not having to ship parts in and wait over two weeks for them turn up!
18. There is also a web site I found a couple of weeks ago http://www.bassguitarpartsdirect.co.uk/ and added it to the Repairs and Technical Issues section. They appear to have a large range of Bridges and Machineheads.
19.
Not that I'm aware of... not really sure what that means I think they're just standard.
Hi, There's a company in the UK called Bass Guitar Parts Direct that sell the BT1. http://www.bassguitarpartsdirect.co.uk/sho...r+Bass+Machines If you click on the image there is also a link to the Installation Demo. Hope this helps.
20. This company http://www.bassguitarpartsdirect.co.uk/ appear to stock only Bass products and have a large selection of Machineheads and Bridges.
21.
stick a price on mate, gets more interest
Given the exceptional condition of it and the fact that finding a good one with no tears or issues is getting harder, I would be looking for offers over £400. If anyone wants any additional images just let me know.
22. Well given that this combo has only been used a handfull of times in the last 12 months it is regretfully time to let it go. I have owned it for just over 7 years and in that time it has only left the house a dozen times and gigged about four, condition wise it is absolutely mint with no tears and sounds just like a Trace should, it also comes with a hard wearing made to measure vinyl cover and the original handbook. Given the size I can only offer buyer collects, so if anyone is looking for one of these and wants to make me an offer get in touch. 23. Just read what I wrote earlier today and just to confirm its £700 ono EACH.
