1. Sounds like the dog's doodahs. If only I was 300 miles nearer.
2. Hi Warwick official and everyone else This looks really good. Will you cater for all levels of playing, mine especially as I have only been playing for a year or so and have very little experience of playing bass live? Cheers Paul
3. Bump 5string is now fretless thanks to Jim Fleeting
4. Hi Is this bass for sale or strictly trade only? I have a fretted Yamaha RBX375 I could trade. Cheers
5. I don't know if Michael has one but he and Andy know each other. Mike Harding has one.
6. A couple of friends require a bass player and/or rhythm guitarist. I said I'd post this for them. Please reply to them, not me Calling out to soulful and funky bass players and rhythm guitarists! Rabbit Foot are looking at expanding their line up, and we are 'casting the net wide' for a bass player and/or rhythm guitarist, the musical possibilities of our sound allow for either of the two, so we are on the lookout for the 'best man' or 'best woman' out there. We have been playing and touring as Rabbit Foot for the past year, and have played Gloucester Rhythm and Blues festival as well as pubs and clubs in London and the South East. We're hoping that 2012 will be a good year for us, we already have a few festivals booked, one of which is Hebden Bridge Blues Festival, and exciting gigs coming up, one of which will be Rabbit Foot opening for world music legend Vieux Farka Toure at the Komedia on the 15th of this month (come and see us - tickets are going fast!). We are wanting to expand our line up to give ourselves more 'room to breathe'.. and therefore to step up our musical quality, each of us will be playing to their strengths. We are signed with a couple of local agents but are hoping that the improved line up will help us open more doors. Write to us (ideally with demo), and we will be holding auditions at a venue in Lewes. Here are some links about us: Rabbit Foot on Facebook: www.facebook.com/rabbitfootblues Here's a taste of what you'll be playing to! 7. Hi Discreet and Leftybassman Yes, Dobro/National steel sort of sound. I know that many of his customers are from the traditional country blues/slide players stable so they've probably met Santa at the crossroads already
8. Hi all Check this out if you fancy a guitar with a difference. Andy has been making electric resonator guitars for quite a while now. He has created some cracking instruments from parts https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sollophonic-Guitars/140078739387649
9. Hi all I would like to get out and play some music. I've been playing bass for just over a year (fretless Aerodyne and very recently 5 string Yamaha). My playing background is acoustic folk (guitar and vocals and tin whistle) and listen to jazz, world and blues so a mixture of those could be good. in 50's and still got some of my own teeth, the rest I've borrowed. House trained and wash when required :0) Cheers Paul
10. Bought Yamaha RBX 375 from Luke at the weekend. Very pleased with it and slowly getting used to having the extra string. Might even be able to play it without looking soon :0). Great guy to deal with, he dropped the bass at mine and left me alone to play it. We only live a few miles apart so it was dead easy. The bass was exactly as described. Cheers
11. Not my poison but you might get some replies if you say where you are.
12. Great sound, great music, shame you're 300 miles away, geographically not musically. Oh, and you're too young :0) All the best Paul
