  1. I got a hold of this bass a few years ago when I was playing more fretless than I am today. Seen another instrument that I'd like to have a go on so hoping to raise some funds.

I would say that its condition is maybe 7/10. There are superficial dents on the body and the finish is worn above the neck pickup. There is a scratch on the fretboard around the 17-19th "fret". The scratch is not directly beneath the string and doesn't affect ability at all. One of the pickup screws on the neck pickup is missing. I have tried to capture these accurately in the photos. In fairness, given its a 25 year old bass, its not too shabby at all! My intention was to have this as a bit of a project bass. I was going to replace the electronics, have a luthier restore the fretboard and maybe refinish. What actually happened was, I moved back to fretted bass and as such, the Warwick has been sat on a guitar stand for years collecting dust. It is definitely past time to move this on! The bass is in a perfectly functioning condition. Setup is really nice, there is maybe room for it to go down a little further but I got it set to my personal preference which I think is quite low. It has that Warwick woody growl, I wish I could have gigged it more, the mids just cut through anything! It is currently strung with some old dead round wounds (again personal preference) I am afraid I haven't got any other flatwounds to switch them with.

Comes with a soft case and strap locks. Shipping could be arranged at the buyers own risk but may need a few days to sort out the materials. Based near Huddersfield, would prefer pickup or meet halfway providing we can do so in a safe and legal manner!

    Price is £700

    Prefer sale but potential trades:

Passive jazz (fender rw would be perfect!) Fretted or fretless

Musicman Stingray 4h fretted or fretless

    P bass fretless

    Synth pedal

Any questions or extra photos, please ask! I appreciate I am not the most aspiring photographer about!

  2. Sansamp v1 bass DI - £100

Sansamp VT bass DI - £130

VT is a great bit of kit, SVT in a box!

Good working order, I've gone down the helix route as I'm tinkling on guitar a little more often these days. Shipping included in price. Both have attachments for my pedal board but that could be removed or velcroed over.

  3. I've decided to move on my two lovely Bergantino AE112 cabs. I've changed musical situations and I'm no longer going to need to travel with my amp as much. This is surely going to be one of those life decisions I will live to regret. If one sells, I may keep the other as a practice cab.

Gigged less than 20 times in the 5 or 6 years I have had them. Always kept the tweeters on their lowest setting. Felt the need to put them in the flat position for the photos?! Both in good condition, always stored/transported with covers on (also included)

Looking for £350 each or £680 for both.

I'd much prefer the straight sale but the following items may interest me:

    • LMTube
    • Cheap project/backup Jazz
    • Source Audio C4
    • Future impact v3
    • Musicman Stingray/Bongo - very shallow interest!
    • small 1x10 practice combo or cab

Trade value set at £750 as I would prefer the straight sale.

The HX Stomp does have - I’d suggest investigating that pedal if you want amp sims.

I have no need for them, hence just getting the effects box.

Trust me I have. The form factor of the effects is perfect. Perfect real estate. The way I want to gig requires the sims though! I'm getting a stomp soon .... I keep holding off incase line6 announce sims for the effects

An OC2, 1st octave fully on, 2nd octave & dry signal fully off.  That’s a good place to start.

When I've played it I've kept the dry signal knob at around 10 o'clock. It helps give the note some definition.

I struggle with the slap and bass fills alongside getting the octave on and off. Anyone have any advise for that?

Ill be trying out the non D2 next Friday, but my mate has said there is a huge difference between this and his old little mark tube. Louder, fuller sounding and seems to have a more 3D tone to it.

Did you get round to trying your mates D2 Dave?
