1. bump - pms replied to (I think), need to sell or trade this, as funds required to rescue my rig situation.
2. Well, long story...kept brief. Was happily gigging a Markbass Mini121p combo, supported by a MB Std 102HF Cab. Driven by my BDDI. All good. But then decided that I never use the combo alone any more, so decided to flog it, and go down the pre-power route. I then made the decision to get a Standard 104HF cab (8 ohm) on here - great cab. And I sold the Std 102HF cab to fund it. (And then also bought a new acoustic guitar, which has not helped funds, lol). So, you would think that I would now be happy with my BDDI driving a QSCRMX2450 bridged into my 8 ohm cab. But I am not - it is very heavy, and I want to go back to a dedicated head. Trouble is, I am possibly a bit snookered by having just the one 8 ohm cab, as I need the full 500w from the Markbass heads (which I am going to stick to I think), so that means getting a head (I can afford this) and another cab (for which I have no money). So, bugger. What do I do? Part-ex my SR5 to help (see sep thread). Buy Doods F1 - (I want it, just worried that I need a 4 ohm load to get the 500w). So I reckon I am a bit stuck unless someone wants to swap my Standard 104HF 8 ohm, for a 4 ohm one, or 2 8 ohm cabs. OR Buy it from me. BUGGER! Thanks for listening. :-)
3. Right, could do with getting more serious about this. I never use it, and although it is a very very nice bass, I need some monies, so would like to sell it, or trade for a cheaper 5 string, with monies my way. So pm me! Cheers Chris
4. thats it then, I must have one.
5. cool, thanks not got one, just musing at the moment
6. exactly! So, anyone?
7. Does anyone stack a 102 combo on top of one of the Markbass full size cabs? I would think it would fit nicely and the corners lock in at the front, but just wonder about it tipping back accidentally (due to the tip back feature). Or is thin not really a problem? Thanks Chris
8. one of these Excellent condition, surplus to my needs. Full working order, will accept £45 posted. Can do pics if required. Chris

11. yum yum quality set up. If I had £700 I would have it.
12.
I was not trying to say you was ripping anybody off and I apologise profusely if that is how it seemed. I just think that suggesting Basschatters have missed a couple of good sales is a bit inappropriate if the good sales were not offered to them. When I buy stuff that is offered here I always assume (maybe wrongly) that the seller has gone that little bit further to keep the price down, in the great Basschat tradition, and I would not dream of asking them to knock off nearly 20% off the price. Once again I am sorry if there was the mearest hint I thought you was ripping anyone off.
Fair comment. You can be sure that if the cab had not gone so fast to a chap within 800yds of my house, Basschatters would have been invited more formally to make offers. lol, maybe I could have got £350. Who knows. I bought a cab at a good price too, so personally I am happy. Tell you what, there is a great deal on a LM2 and 104hf on the board elsewhere right now. So, all is cool Best regards C
13. i'm gonna have to come and have a play Chris
14. Thanks John. At the end of the day, the auction had "best offer" on it for a reason - to invite offers. It was not simply fixed price. I have seen too many things sit around in the for sale sections in here for far too long, and Ebay is clearly a far bigger audience than just on here. I make my living playing and teaching bass, guitar and drums. Hence pieces of equipment are not just playthings for me, but simply tools of the trade. Cash raised has bought a 4*10 I needed, and will buy an acoustic guitar I also need, along with a preamp possibly.
15. cool. I only ask as I am not using a specific bass amp for my stage rig, but a QSC power amp, and I need to make sure the jack output is hot enough to drive a power amp?
16. lol. Don't was all expect to negotiate? It was funny actually, and the only reason I let it go for the price - the buyer (who is on here) lives down the road as it turns out, and brought cash round immediately, and took it away, so no messing with Paypal fees, postage, meeting half way etc etc. Cash in the hand is king, I might have sold it on here for £320 maybe, and then had to mess around posting or delivering. All evens out in the end. And no, for the avoidance of doubt, I was not trying to rip anyone off, not that this has been suggested.
17. thanks - what amp do you use?
18. sold on the bay of E. Basschatters have missed a couple of great sales from me lol
19. Cool. Not tried one of these. What sort of sounds does it make? Is it possible to use the XLR to feed a live desk, and the jack output to drive a power amplifier (and not a bass amp)? Thanks Chris
20. Now on the bay of "e" Still like to sell on here though, so come on people.
