I'll second that, just bought Joe's Epifani cab which was as described, in v. good nick.

2. I play mainly upright nowadays, but I take a bass guitar along just in case.
Just in case I have to play something that is more suited to a fretted bass, & just in case I have an accident with the upright.

Well last December I knocked the bridge on a door frame going into a venue.
I got the bass out of it's gig bag and checked it, it had moved about 1/4", I reset it and did the gig.

At the next gig I was warming up playing some Christmas carols when there was this huge bang! The bridge snapped in two!
Luckily I had my trusty old jazz bass with me and could do the gig.

Headless, Stein style body, 2 necks, fretless and fretted - pretty much ticks al the boxes :-)

Being an old prog fanboy I love double necks - I'm just in the middle of making my 2nd double necked guitar and I toying with a double neck bass as next years project.

Do you gig it?
I don't gig it nowadays, although I did take it out to an open mic session a couple of months ago.

Scott Lafaro with Bill Evans, "Waltz For Debby" or "Sunday At The Village Vanguard".
I can't decide which one, or could it be Oscar Peterson "Night Train" with Ray Brown?
Or Isreal Crosby with Ahmad Jamal at the Pershing
Or maybe Christian McBride "Gettin To It"
Or Major Holley with Kenny Burrell on "Midnight Blue"
Or Oscar Pettiford
Or Whims Of Chambers etc.

Sorry I can't suggest just one, but what about a thread for recommended listening, or swaps?

5.
Hi,

I'm Sax and I play heavy metal with my Warwick basses. I decided to sign up after reading the thread about Schroeder Cabinets, which I am now going to attempt to save up for a 412L.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Sax :)
