  1. The cat never listens to me! She does like sitting atop some of my bigger bass gear.
  2. Sold. Blackstar Bass fly rig, virtually unused and pretty much as new condition. In perfect working order with UK power supply and plug. Will run with 6x AA batteries (not included). Collection welcome, or insured UK postage for £10. Cat in photos not included, gives a handy sense of scale though.
  3. Stuart recently purchased a pjb 16H folded horn cab off me in what was a very straightforward transaction. Pleasure to deal with, thanks.
  4. Sold. The MXR Bass Auto Q is an auto-wah / envelope filter based on the sound of the Cry Baby pedal, this one designed specifically for bass guitar. The Bass Auto Q features adjustable sensitivity and blendable LFO signal. In good condition and excellent working order, a few little bits of paint come off (mainly around the base plate). As can be seen on the photos the battery clip has lost one of its plastic lugs (I believe this is a common problem with this range of pedal). I have effected a successful fix using sugtu & velcro. Battery shown only for demonstration purposes. All it's original knobs present and correct. Price includes UK insured postage.

  5. It's more like Demolition than planning/building! Ha ha.
  6. Sold. Zoom B1 FOUR in as new condition with box. Great little multi effects with some nice preamps, tuner, looper and more. Incoming Zoom B6 is the only reason for sale. Price includes insured UK postage.
  7. Another smooth and easy deal with Stew, we did a pedal px/trade. Very happy, top bloke.
  8. Sold. Reduced to £60.00 Jazz bass put together some time ago by a very good friend of mine. Passive with the aforementioned neck and a red painted body (minor scratches and one ding) in good working order. Solid, quality bridge, weight is 9 pounds 5 ounces (4.2 kilos). Nice fretless starter for someone, no case or gig bag, collection (and tryout) welcome or could possibly meet within a 20 mile radius of Daventry.
  9. I can confirm this is a very nice bass head with a powerful, high quality sound. I would be tempted myself if I had some suitable cabs to go with it.
  10. Mike recently purchased a pair of Wilkinson jazz bass pickups from my, couldn't have been any smoother or easier to conclude. Deal with total confidence.
  11. I've been meaning to post on this thread for a while, wanted to finish my 'jazz builds' first. Front row, left to right: Organic (one piece body and neck) Warwick Dolphin Pro 1, brace of Zon sonus. Rear: pair of bitsa jazz basses put together by myself.
  12. Just sold some strings to Ian who paid very quickly, great comms. Excellent basschatter, deal with confidence.
  13. Sold already. Set of Dunlop stainless steel Robert Trujillo Bass 4 string set: 45, 63, 80, 102. Basically as new, plastic pouch opened but strings not put on a bass as I decided to stick to the nickels I'm used to. Price include UK postage so a decent saving against the new price.
  14. Yes, looks like it as the Bartolini replacements I used went into the same screw holes.
  15. Thanks for all the comments folks, it is indeed a superb thing.
  16. Drawn a diagram for them, very slight taper top to bottom which I didn't realise until measuring.
  17. Or did you mean the bass frequencies from the cab?
  18. One of 2 I put together (1 fretted, 1 fretless) using status necks, vintage icon bodies, Bartolini pickups and various other upgrades.
  19. SOLD Now down to £725.00. For sale is this magnificent creation with 16 piranha speakers in a very solid and perfectly designed folded horn cabinet. Yes it's large and heavy but boy does it deliver. I purchased this from Alan Greensall who used to run pjb UK distribution in Birmingham. These have to be specially orded at a cost of over £2660.00 excluding vat and import costs. Specifications: 1600 watts, (will perform just fine with any amp kicking out anything from a few hundred watts to thousands) 8ohms, width=24" (622mm) height =47" (1193mm) depth=27.5" (698mm) and weight= 111kg. Surprisingly easy to move on flat surfaces thanks to the 4 castors - 2 of which can be locked by pressing with your foot, which makes it completely static. Yes it is big and heavy but there is nothing to touch it in terms of delivering a huge clear full range sound. I can get it in & out of my Audi A5 sportback hatch (on my own if necessary). So a good size car/estate car or a van is what's needed here. It has a few very minor scuffs and the odd tiny dent, in excellent working order and very good condition. Extremely rare in the UK and indeed the world. I have too many bass cabs, so my loss could be your gain. Collection only for obvious reasons. Jazz bass shown is to show scale and not part of the sale.
  20. Possibly, a volume pedal, or trace Elliot sm7 eq, or dual band compressor pedal
  21. Now £60 Ibanez bass synth in excellent condition especially for its age, some velcro underneath and minor scuffs. Has the ibanez tonelock facility so you can keep the knobs setting by pushing them flush. These are a bit different to most synth pedals in that because they don't track like traditional synths there are no latency issues or glitching, it follows the player perfectly. Collection welcome or add £8.00 for UK insured postage.
  22. Sold. Price down to £95.00 Retro-Sonic are a very well regarded pedal manufacturer and with good reason. Based on the old boss DM-2 with a bit more functionality, this is a very nice high quality analog delay in excellent condition and perfect working order. Includes original box. Collection welcome or can send insured in the UK for £8.00
