i had one of these units and loved it to bits! i just didnt use it enough to warrant keeping it. There will be a bit of an argument weather the modelling is convincing... But you need to bare in mind that although the Fliptop model wont sound identical to am all valve ampeg fliptop, It is still a very usable tone for songs that would use that sound. dont let people put you off by saying there no good! 2p.

I had this happen to my nemesis a few months ago when i pushed the "Boss HardComp" setting, i think it was due to a mixture of real high end feedback and a compressor pushing the signal more than i had intended too.

To be honest its gonna be brilliant for people likeme working a weekend job whilst in college. Get me mam to do it, ill pay her back monthly and she pays it on again. However i cant seem to find anything to say who is actually allowed to apply, im sure there will be a maximum income or something? -

needless to say, im not asking £850, and im not selling it due to biting off more than i can chew! i would LOVE to keep it. seriously. its more than un-fortunate that im in this situation And as for another band... ugh. theres no way that with the amount of work ive put in over the last year im gonna let an amp stop me! >.<

North West Bass Tutor - Are You Interested in Lessons in 2010?

Just like to add a short note on my experiences with nick so far; In short, fan-bloody-tastic. Every lesson has been incredibly constructive and i do quite generally have a wonderful feeling of being able to leave his lessons with a view to get home and practice what ive been taught (If only the same feeling was applicable to his college work, says the mother) Totally sound chap, i cant begin to echo how valuable not sticking to a set structure is here, you learn what you want to learn, and Nick will give you an honest opinion on what he also thinks would be valuable. Also, for those of you that know yer gear he's well worth sitting down and having a chat with in a general basschat sense! Allround thumbs up from me. -
After much deliberation this is now FOR SALE. I'm gonna regret it, but unfortunatly there seems to be no other practical solutions. i fully intend to be able to buy it back at some point! The amp itself is in 8.5/10 condition wise. With a slight scuff from the van on one of the side handles (Although thinking about it, i think this may scrub off as its a white mark... maybe scuffed the van more!) And one of the top covers for the mid pot is missing (literally about a centimeter diameter circular disk) Anyway, quick spec for you, 400Watt Nemesis amp, with semi parametric EQ, countour control, onboard compressor and the usual bass mid and treble. Piezo tweeter (which is the best ive ever heard, possibly to do with the fact its near ear level too.) Weighs less than a warwick NEO 810, i guess thats a slight bonus! I got this on a steal, As you all know, and id like to ask for £550 OVNO Im based near blackpool but PM me if your interested and i will be able to sort a halfway jobby out heres the beast in all its grainy camera phone glory! any questions feel free to ask.
I recently watched some Bass solo vid's on Youtube and I was suprised by how much they did NOT interest me.I feel like a traitor to bass players everywhere.I found I did'nt get off on extra fast shredding,or two hand taps.Slap by Wooten, sorry, not for me.I'm more impressed by a good groove or run in a song.I know that I will get some flak for this but I feel its time to come clean;to me bass is supportive.
Then dont watch 'em.
