Fender.
and any bassist that says 'Less is more'..... -
Put it up here:
www.musicradar.com/forum
There is a classified section full of teenage guitarists. -
8u rack. butterflys on the front lid, door hatch on the back. mounting rail on front.
For sale at the same money I paid to Kiwi about 2 years ago! - £70.
(Rack only - all that gear has gone to the great Ebay already)
I can post but collection would be easier.
Northampton / Bedford areas.

I had the SVP BSP - ran that into a Yamaha P5000 poweramp.
Was very nice indeed - nice full sound for all types if gigs.
The Yammie was very nice. Bit heavy but cheap too. (There is also a P2500 and a P7000 if you want less or more horsepower) -
Does that rig have two Pod's in it ??
Yes... and an Ampeg SVP BSP too!
It was lovely - but as heavy as Jo Brand. -
I have run my Mark Bass 102 HF 2x10 for about a year now.
Very nice indeed, very light -- and as others have said a 2x10 is capable of getting very low indeed. Bit of synth and chorus and the 'Deeper Underground' thickness is right there.
Very nice cab indeed.
I am in 2 minds whether to get a Mark Bass 15 to go with it - or another 2x10 and have a cab each side of the drums... -
Lovely sounding things... but my back couldn't cope with a cab weighing 205lb!!
That is almost as much as I weigh! -
My old rig (the second version of my stupid set up: Rig of Doom GT) did it:
My basses have 2 outputs though - so I can run completely separate signal chains.
I ran it 2 ways:
1 cab totally clean
1 cab FX and dirt
OR
as the preamps could mix clean and dirty internally
1 cab mix of clean and dirt
1 cab mix of a slightly different clean and dirt
It sounded HUGE!!! The second option effectively allowed me to use frequency dependant drive.
I sold it all to upgrade for the "Rig of Doom V3" which is under contruction at the moment. -
I have 2 of these basses (4 strings) and a matching 5.
They are awesome. -

50KG!!!! Blimey!
I got rid of my Marshall VBC412s because they weighed that!
Nice specs though.
I don't think I can cope with a 50kg cab again - so that is the Matamp gone as well. Shame that - their guitar gear is fab. -
As the title says.
I'm trying to put together a 'try' list.
So far - the Zoot 2x15; the Markbass 2x15.
Must be lightweight / neo
I've never had 15s before - always used 10s or mainly 12s, but I feel the need for low dubby goodness! -
I am interested in one of their 2x15s - so If anyone has tried one I'dlove to hear about it!
-
I have the LM2 head and the front ported 2x10 cab - so effewctively the same thjing.
I have all the EQ on 5 (treble at 7 if I'm using a fretless) and then just tweak the voice controls to the room. -
mmm - fair few ideas there.
I wonder if I can find a better clip. -
Brand new really - still got the tin. Plugged in about 5 times.
£100 delivered in UK.
Now now....
Don't know about you but when I've something to sell I put it in every shop window I deem fit. We'd soon moan if it was posted on another forum and the ad said 'not for sale to non members'.
Stan's a long standing Basschat member with something to sell that we're interested in.
As to why nobody has snapped this up for the modest ask - I'm clueless. If I were Status-less I would do , I can assure you.
+1
I have 3 Statii now - and if it wasn't for them, I'd have it.
BTW Dave - your old Energy is still going strong ta! Lovely bass - especially after it had surgery to wedge the extra pickup in it...! -
My Statii only have side dots.
Liekt eh above - I didn't realise I didn't use the front ones until they were missing! -
I like my BDDI - but then again when the Bass and Treb are set flat it pretty much sounds like I have an amp anyway.
My Statii are pretty bright though, so I'm sure that helps a bit. -
Cheers!
The tab is completely different to a 'proper' bass tab book I have.
But looking at YOutube for a live show - it appears that Wolfen-wotsit plays it like the pwoertab version. -
As the powertab archive ahs closed - has anyone got the bass part for HYSTERIA on powertab they could email me?
ta muchly
I've been speaking to Neil Murray (ex Whitesnake, Colosseum etc etc) and he seems to think it's an overdriven amp, possibly an Ampeg too and as I can't afford to fork out for an Ampeg, he's kindly given me pointers to how I might get near the sound.
Thanks for all your posts
You should never name drop.
Brad Pitt taught me that.
